"We're here! You're safe now!"
The protagonist's line was a little over-the-top.
But paired with his dramatic entrance, that didn't matter. It just felt so cool.
Char couldn't hold back any longer. He desperately wanted to know what the other viewers had to say about this scene. He hit pause, dragged the video back to the protagonist's entrance, and turned the comments back on.
"666."
"Damn, that beam flying at the camera scared the hell out of me."
"The budget suddenly exploded."
"The protagonist suddenly got kind of cute."
"He suddenly got so cool!"

A flood of comments appeared.
Just as he'd expected.
Following the comments, Char watched the protagonist's entrance again.
It was much easier to get used to this way. The comments had also been captivated by the sudden burst of spectacular animation, and finally stopped arguing. It felt great.
Char took the chance to study the animation closely and confirmed that the running robot had been hand-drawn, not made with so-called 3D. The animator for this cut had mischievously drawn a beam flying straight toward the camera, startling the viewers, but there was no denying how well the scene was done. Just how good was it? If he had to describe it in one word, it was... human-powered 3D!
Good grief, the robot's running didn't feel awkward at all! At first glance, it looked a little stiff, not as fluid as a human running, but it was a robot! That stiffness was just right. It didn't feel awkward to the viewers at all, and it perfectly conveyed the robot's immense size and mechanical nature!
Had the production team suddenly awakened or something...?
Just as Char was marveling at how good the animation was, the scene of the protagonist charging in came to an end.
