Victoria's suspicion was not unfounded.
That was the High Tower Witch, who held grudges over every slight.
Even if she had let Victoria off,
she would definitely have planted some kind of obstacle in her way.
After all, Victoria had caused her no shortage of trouble back then.
She had even planned to sell some Heaven's Fall to those Black Witches in an attempt to control them.
Unfortunately, that plan had not succeeded.
But she no longer felt any regret about it.
Or rather, she was glad it had failed.
After all, if it had truly succeeded, who knew how the High Tower Witch would have dealt with her?

Facing that woman
felt like facing a humanoid monster.
And not just any monster, but the kind of enormous, frenzied monster that could go berserk at any moment.
"What is going on with this thing? Why did it appear here?"
Victoria raised her head and frowned at the monster tossing massive boulders around without restraint.
She felt that the High Tower Witch might be behind it,
but she was not completely certain.
She did not even have any evidence.
It was merely a guess.
And in truth, whether the other party had done it or not, there was nothing Victoria could do to her.
"I don't know. Not long after people on the streets started collapsing, this thing suddenly appeared."
The person who had accompanied her to report the matter shook his head again.
That response of knowing nothing irritated Victoria.
She wanted to Lash him a couple of times,
but felt that now was not the time for that.
After all, that thing was still wantonly destroying her "castle."
"Damn it, where is the Punishment Squad? Why hasn't anyone gone up to attack that monster?"
Victoria was deeply dissatisfied.
