Newcomers' Strength

An hour later, Azu walked out of the Training Room in satisfaction and closed the door behind him.

Ashley happened to be looking for him, and Azu said, "Miss Angelina just finished exercising and needs to rest. Don't let anyone go in."

Ashley nodded, then said, "Homelander, Princess Frost, Livewire, and Element Man have arrived."

"Good."

"Get Black Noir and Maeve. Have them go to Training Hall 3."

A moment later.

In Training Hall 3, Azu met the three new members he had selected.

Princess Frost was a tall white woman with the figure of a supermodel.

She had silver-white hair, delicate skin, and wore a white one-piece minidress that was pleasing to the eye.

Livewire was a slight white man with brown hair and brown eyes.

He looked somewhat nervous, his gaze constantly shifting, with the occasional spark of electricity flickering around him.

Element Man came from Russia. She had reddish-brown hair and emerald-green eyes.

But with a little observation, one would notice that the color of her pupils changed from time to time.

They shifted from emerald green to crimson, then silver-white, before turning pale yellow.

After Maeve and Black Noir arrived, Azu led them inside and clapped his hands. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen."

Hearing his voice, the three Supers immediately looked over.

Princess Frost immediately revealed a charming smile. She lightly lifted the hem of her skirt, which fell to the tops of her thighs, and curtsied like a real princess.

Livewire had already been uneasy, and now he did not know where to put his hands. A stiff smile hung on his face as electric light occasionally flickered over his body.

Element Man was the calmest. She gave a slight nod and said, "Good afternoon, Homelander."

Azu planted his hands on his hips and flashed a sunny smile. "I've looked over your files and believe you are all fully qualified to join The Seven and replace the members who have already left."

"However, you also know that The Seven faces vicious criminals, even Super-powered villains."

"Therefore, I need to know how capable you are."

"So next, my companions and I will face each of you one-on-one."

"You have no objections, right?"

Princess Frost beamed. "Of course not. If possible, Homelander, could you test me?"

Azu laughed. "Of course."

The personnel for the three tests were quickly decided.

Black Noir would test Livewire.

Maeve would test Element Man.

Azu's opponent would be Princess Frost.

"Let's go to separate Training Rooms," Azu suggested.

Princess Frost gladly agreed.

Once they arrived in a separate Training Room, the two of them put some distance between themselves. Azu beckoned. "Let me see what you can do."

"Then I won't hold back."

Princess Frost suddenly stepped forward. Frost immediately spread from the tips of her white knee-high leather boots.

The frost froze the floor and rapidly spread toward Azu, about to seal him in.

But Azu had already floated into the air, his feet leaving the ground, effortlessly neutralizing Princess Frost's move.

Princess Frost, tall and built like a supermodel, immediately gathered frost in both hands and stretched it into two ice blades.

With a shout, she charged forward. As she rushed, a smooth sheet of ice formed beneath her feet, extending into a path that led straight toward Azu.

Princess Frost glided along that path at incredible speed, closing in on Azu in an instant. Her two ice blades slashed repeatedly across his body.

Azu neither dodged nor blocked. Intending to test Princess Frost's strength, he allowed the two ice blades to carve streaks of white across his blue battle suit.

Although the ice blades could not breach Azu's defenses, he noticed that the frost left on his clothes began spreading on its own.

Then, Princess Frost opened her mouth and blew a breath of icy air at Azu.

The crisp-smelling cold breath struck Azu, rapidly freezing him over. But he merely raised a hand and flicked a finger lightly, shattering the ice and shaking it off.

He smiled. "Do you have anything stronger?"

Princess Frost's eyes suddenly turned silver-white, as if a blizzard howled within her pupils.

She suddenly spread her arms. A cold wind rose in the Training Room, lifting her short skirt, and then flocks of tiny birds formed from frost flew toward Azu.

They continuously struck Azu's body. Judging from their impact, Azu gave a slight nod. Each possessed force comparable to a rifle bullet.

Moreover, after striking a target, they released cold air to freeze it.

In the blink of an eye, Azu was sealed inside a block of ice.

Princess Frost raised one arm again and pointed with an ice blade.

At Azu's location, a pillar of ice suddenly rose from the ground, instantly pulling him into it and trapping him inside.

At that moment, two points of light lit up within the ice pillar. Then two golden beams tore through it. The sunlight-like radiance rapidly spread cracks through the pillar, causing it to explode and melt.

Only then did Azu, floating in midair, retract his Heat Ray. With a faint smile, he suddenly dove downward.

Princess Frost saw only a blur before Homelander appeared in front of her. Then a violent blow slammed into her lower abdomen, bending her body like a shrimp.

From her neck to her face, she instantly turned red from holding her breath.

Before she could even scream, the spot where she had been punched was struck by another invisible impact, sending her flying.

Just as she was about to crash into the wall, Azu flashed behind her, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and slowly descended.

Only then did Princess Frost begin coughing violently, her body trembling nonstop.

After a moment, she finally caught her breath.

After setting Princess Frost down, Azu looked at his hands. The frost that had just formed on his palms melted into water.

He looked at the woman and smiled. "Congratulations. You passed."

"Your ice abilities and physical strength are both good. You meet my requirements."

"From this moment on, you are a member of The Seven."

Princess Frost's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"Thank you so much, Homelander."

She gently bit her lip, tears shimmering in her eyes as their color returned to normal. "I really don't know how I could thank you."

Without any restraint, Azu looked her over from head to toe, then whispered in her ear, "You'll have a chance to thank me later."

With that, he smiled and turned to leave the Training Room.

The other two tests also ended one after another.

Livewire could release high-voltage electricity and condense it into spheres or long whips for attacks.

Element Man had quite a few moves. She could use four different elemental abilities—earth, wind, water, and fire—but their power was not particularly strong.

Overall, these three newcomers were fairly capable. At the very least, they were stronger than trash like A-Train and The Deep.

Next, Ashley took the three newcomers to see their rooms and had the Costume Team tailor battle suits for them.

Just as Azu had some free time and was about to head to the Criminal Analysis Department, his phone rang.

The name Lin Aida flashed on the caller ID.
