Jeff was startled.

He spun around and saw Homelander in his Black Battle Suit standing right behind him, a hateful smile on that handsome face as he looked at him like a mouse.

Inside the Black Lord Battle Armor, Jeff's expression twisted. He said darkly, "Homelander, why are you ruining my plans?"

"Didn't you say you wouldn't interfere in this matter?"

Azu chuckled, gently shook his head, and wagged a raised finger. "I think you've got it wrong."

"I never said I wouldn't interfere in this matter."

"Besides, even if I had said that, whether I wanted to go back on my word or do whatever I pleased was my freedom."

He raised his head, his smile brilliant but his tone icy. "You don't get to tell me what to do. Understand?"

Jeff burst out laughing. "I hadn't wanted to make an enemy of you, Homelander."

"But that doesn't mean I'm afraid of you."

"It was just that the time hadn't come yet."

"But since you've come looking for me, I don't mind letting the entire Federation see Homelander's legend fall tonight!"

Azu gave a lazy laugh. "The last guy said the same thing. Want to guess what happened to him?"

Jeff answered with his fist.

His cape flared as the armored man charged at Azu. In an instant, he accelerated to three hundred kilometers per hour, reaching top speed without any buildup at all.

Bang!

The Black Lord's iron fist struck Azu, sending ripples through the impact as Azu's head involuntarily tilted back.

He hit him!

Jeff could not help laughing wildly, but as he laughed, the sound died in his throat.

He saw Homelander slowly lower his head. There was not a scratch on his face, and his smile was contemptuous, his gaze arrogant.
