Luo Can strengthened the Fate Defying Pavilion, welcomed new disciples, and helped Qian Renxue, Tang Ya, and others advance. After Tang San’s displaced Divine Sense entered his younger self, Luo Can prepared his disciples and growing organization to oppose the future he had uncovered.

• Qian Renxue revived Xue Qinghe and bound him to her and Luo Can, while Ning Fengzhi allied the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect with the Fate Defying Pavilion.
• Qian Renxue formed a Light Soul Core at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, and Luo Can returned with her to organize the Pavilion and its disciples.
• Luo Can recruited Wu Siduo from twenty thousand years in the future, and Tang Ya gained the Blue Silver Emperor as her Soul Spirit.

Luo Can expanded Fate Defying Pavilion, trained its young disciples, and strengthened its opposition to Tang San. When the Clear Sky Sect besieged the Four Single-Attribute Clans, Cheng Gang and Ling Yuan intervened, leaving them battling the sect’s forces and Tang Hao.

• Luo Can recruited Ling Yuan, brought 173 orphaned children to Fate Defying Valley, and established their training at Qichen Academy with Qin Lang and Fang Yue.
• Tang San absorbed a Golden Thread Four-Leaf Clover Spirit Ring, poisoned Yu Xiaogang, and cured him at the cost of permanently destroying his sexual function.
• Wang Dong'er endured Luo Can’s Origin Flame body tempering, awakened her hidden God-Given Spirit Ring, and raised her first ring to 3,500 years.
• After Tang Ya and Qian Renxue told Wang Dong'er about Tang San’s actions, Wang Dong'er rejected her former allegiance to him and returned to training.
• Yang Wudi’s letter reported that Niu Gao had agreed to join Fate Defying Pavilion, but the Clear Sky Sect had surrounded the clans in Longxing City.
• Luo Can sent Cheng Gang and Ling Yuan to rescue Yang Wudi, while he arranged for Ning Fengzhi and Spirit Hall to learn of the siege.
• The Clear Sky Sect and Strength Clan attacked the Breaking and Defense Clans after Yang Wudi and Niu Gao refused to surrender.

Fate Defying Pavilion defeated the Clear Sky Sect’s forces, welcomed new allies and people from other eras, and prepared for its Grand Competition. The arc ended with the competition about to begin as Yu Xiaogang set out to find a dragon-type fourth Spirit Ring.

• Cheng Gang and Ling Yuan defeated Tang Hao’s forces at Longxing City, killing the Clear Sky Sect’s Fourth and Fifth Elders and nearly wiping out the Strength Clan’s fighters.
• Tai Tan blamed Tang Hao for the slaughter and sought Spirit Hall’s help, while Yang Wudi and Niu Gao joined Fate Defying Pavilion under Qian Renxue’s welcome.
• Luo Can recruited Niu Gao to oversee construction, rewarded Cheng Gang and Ling Yuan for their victory, and learned that Spirit Hall was wary of the Pavilion’s power.
• Luo Can fished up a younger Bibi Dong, who learned about her future and chose to stay in Fate Defying Valley, where she began cultivating and teaching at Qichen Academy.
• Luo Can fished up Ye Guyi and Vina from other eras, while Du Bisi reunited with Vina and helped her begin rebuilding the Body Sect.

Luo Can’s pavilion held its Grand Competition, attracted Ning Fengzhi’s patronage, and welcomed Ning Rongrong as a registered disciple. Luo Can then created and tested a Hundred Thousand Year Artificial Spirit Ring, setting plans for its use and possible cooperation with soul beasts.

• Ye Qingyu opened the Points Competition, and Luo Can selected promising competitors for special cultivation after the rankings were posted.
• Ning Fengzhi visited the Fate Defying Pavilion, placed a large order, and watched its disciples compete in the Grand Competition.
• The finals crowned Li Qing first, after which Luo Can’s six disciples challenged the top competitors and demonstrated their abilities.
• Ning Rongrong entered Luo Can’s Illusion Tower trial, fell short of becoming a personal disciple, and was accepted as a registered disciple instead.
