Return to DC! Divine Power Soars!
Howard Stark.
As a character trapped inside "New Marvel Story," he had actually managed to leap beyond the framework of the story and, with nothing more than a recording of Tony Stark, glimpse the truth of the world.
That was probably something even gods like Odin could not accomplish. It had to be said that the greatest genius in the Stark family might truly not have been Tony Stark, the one chosen by Destiny.
"What exactly did Howard see with his Time Machine?" Ian could not help asking further. Sunlight streamed through the blinds outside the window, falling between him and New Tony.
At that.
New Tony's holographic projection flickered faintly amid the stream of data, and on that face formed from precise algorithms, there appeared a trace of complexity almost human in nature.
"Just like I said earlier." Digital Tony's voice carried the distinctive calm of an electronic tone. "I don't know what kind of machine Howard built."
"But his diary did record some of his discoveries." As New Tony spoke, the projection switched, and a holographic image of a yellowed paper diary unfolded in the air.
The messy fountain-pen writing was pressed deep into the paper, and some pages had even been blurred by coffee stains.
Painstakingly written. Focused.
Of course.
Ian could only sense the writer's emotions while writing. He could not guess the writer's mental state at the time, and as for the handwriting on it, he could barely make out even a single letter.
It was not encrypted text.
It was simply far too sloppy.
"Uh, Howard would've made a good doctor. That handwriting is perfect for writing prescriptions." Ian saw one page with a corner that had been folded over again and again, covered in countless exclamation marks
