Ian needed exposure.

"What happened here has already been resolved. What the citizens need is information and reassurance, not more mystery and lockdowns!" Ian snapped angrily at the group of uninvited guests.
"Yeah! I've never heard of the beacon of freedom having even freedom of the press blocked by lackeys like you!" someone shouted when he saw that even Superman Ian had stepped forward.
He immediately chimed in, stirring up even more resentment.
"The people need the truth!"
"It's not like nobody knows this world has superhumans!"

The protest was dialed all the way up.
