Some things...
would happen no matter how many times the universe was rebooted.
This was what universes like Marvel and DC called fixed events.
Barring certain special circumstances, most historical events would be linked together amid the fluctuations of history—such as Kaecilius being tempted by dark power and turning to Dormammu.
Although not much time had passed since the world had been rebooted, this fixed event had already occurred in most parallel universes. The Marvel Cinematic Universe was no exception.

Kaecilius locked the door behind him and activated every shielding array in the room.
Then he took a pitch-black crystal ball from a hidden compartment, one that kept collapsing inward like a miniature black hole.
Then—
After confirming that the Sorcerer Supreme had not returned immediately—
Kaecilius began moving against the clock. He held the crystal ball in both hands, dropped to his knees, and a mixture of devotion and urgency surfaced on his face.
This mage, a prodigy-like figure of the order, poured his magic and mental power into the crystal ball, then began to murmur a passage of awkward, blasphemous incantation filled with yearning for darkness and devouring.
Afterward—
Inside the crystal ball, that eternal darkness began to spin, expand, and finally formed a phantom passage flickering with dark orange sparks, writhing continuously.
From deep within the passage, there soon came a vast whisper that made the soul tremble, along with the sound of eternal flames burning.
"Great Dark Lord—Dimension Eater—Dormammu—" Kaecilius's voice trembled, filled with both fear and fawning.
"Your humble servant reports to you—" He described everything that had happened in the library swiftly and clearly: the mysterious intruder, the bizarre method of plundering knowledge, the guardian mages who had been subdued with ease, and his own judgment of the intruder's level of power.
