Ian's explanation was, of course, not accepted.
"Brute strength couldn't possibly kick apart gravity's restraints. Brute strength couldn't possibly crush a nuclear-force light sphere bare-handed. Brute strength couldn't possibly block an electromagnetic torrent. That wasn't brute strength. That was law.
"It was the law of force."
The Lord of Gravity's body swelled slightly, looking utterly certain.
Ian looked at them for a moment. "You don't believe me?"
"We don't." Three voices answered at once.
Ian sighed, turned around, and continued walking into the void. After two steps, he stopped again, but did not look back.
"Then I'm Pangu!"
The three ancient beings did not answer. They did not know who Pangu was. That name was not in their database, nor in the records of any law.
Perhaps he was some forgotten ancient existence. Perhaps he was the creator god of another universe. Perhaps Ian had simply made the name up on the spot.
"Bye-bye, everyone."
Ian kept walking.
His voice drifted over from the void, very soft, as if he were talking to himself.
His back receded farther and farther into the void, growing smaller and smaller. The Lord of Gravity stared in the direction where he had disappeared for a very long time.
"What exactly is he?"
The Lord of Electromagnetism's light dimmed for a moment.
"I don't know."
The Lord of Nuclear Force began rotating again, very slowly.
The three ancient beings said nothing more. They dispersed and returned to their own orbits. Gravity continued to tug at the stars, electromagnetism continued to bind atoms, and nuclear force continued to ignite the heavens.
The universe was still expanding, and time was still flowing.
Ian walked through the void at an unhurried pace.
"You really don't have some law of force?" Galacta's voice came from his palm.
"No."
"Then
