Having experienced this before, Ian looked at the Doomsdays scattered across his field of vision, then at the empty expanse in the distance, which still had no marked boundary.
"We'll keep moving forward. If they start moving, I'll handle them." Without lingering after speaking, he continued forward through the gaps between the Doomsdays.
Rather than going around them, Ian chose a straight path, cutting directly through the gaps so that the Doomsdays stood on either side of his route, as though he were testing whether his passage would provoke any aggression from them. Just as before.
The Doomsdays remained motionless as he passed, showing no reaction whatsoever.
As if they had yet to receive an activation order, they simply maintained their original spacing and positions, waiting for some still-undetermined signal.

"I don't think I can take them down." Speedster Wally's instincts were fairly accurate. Many of a Speedster's attack methods were indeed severely limited against Doomsday.
Even if Doomsday could not keep up with his speed, it was difficult for him to truly kill a Doomsday with such astonishing regenerative abilities unless he used some ultimate move.
But there were so many Doomsdays as far as the eye could see, and a Speedster could not use his ultimate moves many times.
