His tentacles suddenly swelled, like rising bread, enveloping the entire skeletal arm from within.
The slender fingers soon sank into the soft tentacles, and then the finger bones gradually disappeared inside them.
The other skeletal arm tried to crawl out through the Spatial Rift, but Thor's sudden expansion blocked its exit.

the Spatial Rift, already unstable, suddenly vanished with a sound like an electrical spark bursting.
The skeletal hand on this side of the rift instantly lost the support of its arm and fell under gravity.
