Thor signed the substitute teaching agreement on the spot.

The pay was pitifully low.

After they signed the agreement, Laura didn't waste a second. She handed him the previous lecturer's lesson plan and left.

Thor walked up to the podium, casually waved down some Apprentices who had stood to greet him, and began flipping through the lesson plan.

He had hardly ever taught anyone. His only Apprentice at the moment was a Level 1 Apprentice who moonlighted as a charlatan.

So he had never given much thought to how he should teach a class.

But since he had decided not to use Witchcraft to get close to the boy, lest the anomaly in him disappear, Thor naturally needed to first build a rapport with him.

Ideally, he would get the boy to approach him of his own accord.

In an instant, Thor had settled on the persona he would adopt: a young Wizard with some skill and a bit of pride, but who often had rotten luck.

Thor quickly read through half of the previous lecturer's lesson plan and realized they had already reached the section on using Composite Runes to improve simple Witchcraft Arrays, enhancing their effects and reducing their energy consumption.

Most of the students below weren't paying attention to what Thor was doing. They were more focused on poring over hefty books on Witchcraft or writing their own study notes.

They didn't seem to care what the lesson was about.

Thor checked the schedule. Level 3 Apprentices had only two classes a week, each lasting an entire morning.

And the material in this lesson plan could fill a year.

Thor slapped the two-inch-thick lesson plan back onto the podium, making a loud thud.

Several Wizard Apprentices in the classroom jumped and looked nervously at their new lecturer,
