Although Ona couldn't understand Thor's interests, she wasn't about to interfere.

Nor was she worried that Thor had some ulterior motive for entering the Academy of Knowledge.

In Ona's eyes, at least within the bounds of Sky City, City Lord Ophelia was invincible. No one could scheme against her.

Besides, Thor's interests were so harmless that Ona was happy to use this opportunity to get closer to him.

After all, she still had a mission to get close to Thor.

With that in mind, Ona stepped forward and walked alongside Thor.

"Then, Lord Thor, would you be willing to share the knowledge you've verified with me?"

Thor didn't refuse Ona's approach. Just as he did with the other Wizards of the same tier at the Academy of Knowledge, he chatted with her casually.

Ona was a Tier 2 Wizard, after all. Although her usual work didn't involve researching various theoretical subjects, she could still speak at length on several fields when needed.

So, with Thor deliberately lowering his guard and Ona doing her best to show off her knowledge, the two had a pleasant conversation all the way there.

As they talked, Thor gradually steered the conversation toward the Mechanical Heart.

"Wasn't the Mechanical Heart invented by City Lord Ophelia?"

"Not at all. And it's no secret in Sky City, either. The original concept for the Mechanical Heart was proposed by the current dean of the Academy of Knowledge. The Academy of Knowledge and the Academy of Practice worked together to complete its design and assembly. It was only after the first Mechanical Heart was created that City Lord Ophelia invested a great deal of manpower and resources into establishing the Academy of Knowledge and the Academy of Practice, so they could create more useful knowledge."

Thor couldn't help nodding
