062. A Frightening Moment After Midnight

Scott transformed the chairs in the classroom into three sleeping bags, then went to sleep first.

By the time he was shaken awake, it was already past midnight, sometime after three in the morning.

"Anything happening?" He sat up, checked the time, and quietly asked George, who had woken him.

George was so sleepy he could barely keep his eyes open. He simply shook his head at Scott, then hurried into his sleeping bag and fell asleep in an instant.

Scott got up and took out his wand, turning the sleeping bag he had been using back into a chair.

He yawned and walked over to sit beside the old desk.

Only a short stub remained of the candle burning on the desk. Resting his head on one hand, Scott looked at the Marauder's Map.

At that moment, every name on the Marauder's Map was still.

Scott deliberately checked the location of Gryffindor Tower and confirmed that Ginny's name was still in her dormitory.

By now, he couldn't help doubting his plan.

Perhaps Tom Riddle had realized that someone had left the message to deliberately provoke him, so he was keeping his cool?
