The Blastoise leader looked toward the Shui sisters, especially after sensing the pure water-and-ice Soul Power within them. A flicker of interest passed through its eyes. Through telepathy, it sent a simple message:
"A powerful water affinity can also comprehend the 'Law of Water' more quickly. Stay. Coexist. Grow stronger."
Shui Yue'er still hesitated, held back by the pride of a genius, but Shui Bing'er had already made her decision.
They had come in search of opportunity in the first place. Though this "stronghold" was harsh, it had the protection of powerful water-type Pokemon, a unique system for survival and development, and perhaps even the chance to encounter the deeper mysteries of the "Law of Water."
Compared to blindly exploring the dangerous seas on their own, it offered far greater safety and opportunity!
"We are willing to stay. Thank you for your protection, Lord Blastoise." Shui Bing'er took her younger sister's hand and solemnly bowed to the Blastoise leader.
The Blastoise leader nodded, apparently quite satisfied.
It let out a low roar, and several other human Spirit Masters immediately stepped forward, signaling that they would arrange temporary lodging for the sisters and explain the stronghold's rules and the responsibilities they would need to shoulder.
Pokemon disliked expending Mental Power on conversation. Lost physical strength could still be replenished through their abilities and the ocean's natural advantages.
But once their minds grew exhausted, they could only recover through sleep. Under normal circumstances, the Spirit Masters handled their own affairs.
So long as no major trouble broke out, no one would interfere.
Looking at the steady blue giants patrolling around them, as solid as mountains, and the survivors whose eyes still held hope despite their exhaustion—
Both Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er felt incredibly fortunate to have encountered the Blastoise clan.
