At last, only Aizen remained. Every contestant and spectator had their eyes on him, waiting for the final result.
Another five hours passed. Only three hours remained before the competition ended.
"Crack, crack, crack!"
"Wait, the pill furnace is cracking!"
Everyone saw the numerous cracks spreading across the pill furnace in front of Aizen.
Through the cracks, they could see a red glow emanating from inside.
"His flames are too fierce. That pill cauldron is already of excellent quality, yet it still can't withstand the power of those flames."
"If he doesn't control them properly, that pill will be ruined!"
Xuankongzi was also surprised that Aizen had run into this problem.
He immediately analyzed the situation and gave his assessment.
"He can still open the furnace in time. What's he hesitating for?"
Tianleizi frowned, perplexed.
Many of the alchemists present reached the same conclusion.
Yet Aizen remained as unhurried as ever, making no move at all.
The cracks in the furnace showed no sign of stopping. Instead, they spread faster and faster!
Then, with a tremendous bang, it burst apart.
Everyone watched without even blinking, eager to see what would happen next.
But what happened next took everyone by surprise.
"He's using Dou Qi Furnace Manifestation! He's using Dou Qi to fuel the flames while also shaping it into a pill furnace?!"
Xuankongzi exclaimed in shock.
Not just anyone could accomplish such a feat. He had to split his attention between two tasks while also focusing on refining the pill.
The cracked furnace in front of Aizen was replaced by one made of transparent Dou Qi that shimmered with golden light. It continued refining the pill inside.
Even an alchemist of Xuankongzi's caliber had never seen anything like it, so it was only natural that the other spectators hadn't either.
