Night of the Clan Extermination

Konoha, a ninja settlement defined by beauty, peace, and friendship, also stands as the greatest of the five major ninja villages.

This evening, unlike the tranquility found in other parts of Konoha, the Uchiha clan compound on the outskirts of the village is permeated with the stench of blood, with screams echoing from every house.

Following the screams, a blood-soaked ninja in Anbu attire slowly walks out. He wipes the blood from the corner of his eye and begins to head toward the distance, where his home lies...

Uchiha Sasuke, having just returned from the Ninja Academy, seems to have a bad premonition; his footsteps grow heavier, yet his pace becomes increasingly rapid.

Entering the Uchiha compound, Sasuke looks at the blood-stained members of his clan scattered around and feels an immediate sense of oppression, then uses all his strength to run toward his home.

Arriving before his parents' room, Sasuke hears the sound of two heavy objects hitting the floor. Having already sensed what might have happened, he struggles to slide open his parents' door.

"Father! Mother!" Pushing the door open, Sasuke sees his parents lying on the floor and lets out a cry of agony!

"Why?" Supporting his parents' still-warm corpses, Sasuke looks at his own older brother standing to the side, Uchiha Itachi!

"Naturally, to test the capacity of these eyes of mine..."

After brutally beating his own younger brother, Uchiha Itachi looks at the unconscious Sasuke, wipes the tears from the corners of his eyes, takes one last look at the parents he just killed, and slowly leaves with tears in his eyes.

After Uchiha Itachi completes his mission with his parents' sacrifice and leaves with a complex heart, a pitch-black hole appears out of thin air above the bodies of Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto, and then a jet-black pupil slowly emerges.

"How cruel! To be able to lay a hand on your own parents; Akatsuki is truly a perfect fit for you!" The Masked Man, claiming to be Uchiha Madara, looks at the expressionless Uchiha Itachi and cannot help but offer praise.

He never expected Uchiha Itachi to be not only a genius but also a thoroughly devoted son!

The guards who were originally beside Danzō disappear instantly upon receiving the order.

The Third Hokage of Konoha, Sarutobi Hiruzen, stands alone in an open space, waiting slowly.

"Is that you, Itachi?"

Following Sarutobi Hiruzen's voice, Itachi, having come from Danzō's side, appears directly before him.

"The tragedy has come to pass, after all!" Confirming it is Itachi, Sarutobi Hiruzen looks at the blood-red moon hanging over the Uchiha compound, his expression complex.

"Please, Third Hokage, take good care of Sasuke!" Looking at the kind old man before him, Itachi makes his request.

"You can rest assured regarding Sasuke, but how will you conduct yourself in the future?" Looking at Itachi, who now has no path left to take, Sarutobi Hiruzen feels a sense of pity.

"I will join that person's organization to prevent them from making a move against Konoha!" Facing Sarutobi Hiruzen's question, Itachi's answer is flawless.

"Be careful in all things; I will issue the report of your defection in one day's time!" Faced with such a seamless answer, Sarutobi Hiruzen's eyes flicker slightly, as if he has other plans in mind.

"I leave Sasuke in your care!" Hearing the Third Hokage's words, Itachi uses the Body Flicker Technique and leaves at high speed.

"The Uchiha are gone; now, nothing can stop the rise of our Sarutobi clan!"

Looking at the bloody Uchiha compound ahead, Sarutobi Hiruzen sighs to himself.

He then orders his Anbu to take Uchiha Sasuke to the Konoha Hospital; after all, this is the only survivor of the Uchiha, and if used well, he will be an invaluable pawn in the future!

"Report to the Third Hokage, the corpses of Uchiha Fugaku and his wife have disappeared!"

A long while later, an Anbu carrying Uchiha Sasuke arrives to report.

"Understood, take him to the hospital first!" Looking at the dying Uchiha Sasuke, Sarutobi Hiruzen cannot help but offer praise—as expected of Itachi! He strikes with such ruthlessness!

In the dark and damp underground, Danzō waits slowly for his Sharingan to arrive.

"Lord Danzō, the corpses of Uchiha Fugaku and his wife have disappeared!"

Suddenly, a Root ninja appears out of thin air and reports respectfully.

"Understood, you may go!" After a brief moment of thought, Danzō already knows who is responsible for this, but compared to tonight's bountiful harvest, two pairs of Three-Tomoe Sharingan do not seem all that important.

Outside Konoha, the Masked Man looks at the late-arriving Itachi and smiles eerily; as expected, the corpses of Uchiha Fugaku and his wife were buried by Itachi!
