After making up his mind, Sasuke went to his parents' room, opened the trapdoor in the floor, and slowly climbed down.
This was where Sasuke had suddenly seen his father, Uchiha Fugaku, go one night. Sasuke had no idea where it led, but he guessed it was his father's secret hideout.
"I hope it's not where he keeps his secret stash of money!"
After flipping the switch to close the trapdoor, Sasuke grumbled to himself and slowly made his way down the stairs. Flames along the stairwell provided light, so he didn't have to worry about being unable to see.
At the bottom of the stairs, Sasuke came to a vast room. It contained a table and a flag bearing the Uchiha Clan Crest.
Five scrolls lay on the table, standing out against the dust that covered it. It looked like they had only been placed there recently.
"Itachi?"
Seeing the suspicious scrolls, Sasuke pictured his dear big brother. Then he shook his head. Now wasn't the time to think about that. The Ninja Academy would open in a month, so he had better master all of Sasuke's old ninjutsu and Taijutsu first!

When Sasuke opened his system panel, this was what he saw. Of course, it was only the most basic panel.

What mattered most to Sasuke was whether he'd give himself away. After all, the original Sasuke had been top of the class!
The Ninja Academy would hold a test when it opened, after all! If Sasuke performed terribly, he could explain it by saying he was in a bad mood, but he'd rather not. Being cool was a lifelong pursuit!
The numbers shown beside each skill represented its proficiency. Once a skill reached its maximum proficiency, it could be fused with another skill. Of course, both skills had to be fully mastered!
E-rank ninjutsu had a proficiency cap of 50, D-rank 100, C-rank 200, B-rank 500, A-rank 800, and S-rank 1000.
Skills common to all ninja had a proficiency cap of 2000. Sasuke felt they would yield something unusual once they reached their peak. For example, if his Hand Seal Speed reached its limit, he might be able to form seals with one hand. And if he mastered that, he might be able to clap his hands and summon whatever he wanted!
He didn't look at the remaining panels, not even the one for the Sharingan. What he needed to do now was slowly make all the skills in his predecessor's body completely his own.
First, Sasuke worked on his Hand Seals. After all, every ninjutsu required them.
Rat, Ox, Tiger, Hare, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Boar. After carefully familiarizing himself with each seal, Sasuke's speed began to improve. After a few rounds of practice, he could form two seals per second!

After closing the panel, Sasuke slowly formed the seals using the memories in his mind. With a "poof," another Sasuke appeared beside him!

With a thought, Sasuke closed the notification panel and dispelled the Clone Technique's projection beside him. Then he began practicing the Substitution Technique and the Transformation Technique!

Looking at the notification, Sasuke smiled faintly and opened the panel to test the system's fusion function.

Reading the description on the fusion panel, Sasuke felt excited, especially about the last option. Although he didn't have the Mangekyō Sharingan yet, he figured he'd be able to obtain a true Mangekyō Sharingan someday!
After all, wasn't the Mangekyō supposed to have all sorts of patterns? It was true that, apart from his brother Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan, the others were hard to get. And aside from ninjutsu fusion, all the other kinds of fusion required a Special Fusion Opportunity. But none of that stopped Sasuke from daydreaming!
"I'm getting ahead of myself. I'd better see what ninjutsu fusion does first!"
Sasuke shook his head, putting aside the thought of laughing maniacally as he daydreamed, and looked at the three options that had appeared under ninjutsu fusion!
Clone Technique, Transformation Technique, and Substitution Technique. Since there was no limit to ninjutsu fusion, Sasuke selected all three basic techniques at once.

Unless he fused it again with the technique that could make enemies unable to tell the difference: the Shadow Clone Technique!

After testing out the Three Basic Techniques a little, Sasuke turned his attention to the five scrolls that Itachi might have left behind.
