Easy Domination

Kakashi watched the kunai that had been behind Inuzuka Kiba turn into Sasuke and couldn't help crying out in shock. As far as he knew, the only person in Ninja World history who could switch places with a weapon was his own teacher, the Yellow Flash, with his signature technique: Flying Thunder God!

"Calm down. If that really were Flying Thunder God, there wouldn't still be a Shadow Clone where he started!"

Just as Kakashi was at a loss, the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi's voice rang out.

"So that's it! Just a simple application of the Transformation Technique and Shadow Clone Technique?"

After Hiruzen Sarutobi's reminder, Kakashi saw the two Sasuke—one in front and one behind—and immediately understood what had happened.

"To think of a tactic like that... So that's how Sasuke escaped the battle area so quickly last time, too. But to make the switch without anyone noticing—is that Sasuke's talent?"

Watching Sasuke hold a kunai beside Kiba's neck, Kakashi couldn't help admiring him. Compared to Sasuke now, Kakashi's own reputation as a genius seemed almost laughable!

"You lose!"

Sasuke held the kunai against Kiba's neck with ease, his expression still blank, as if none of it mattered.

"I lost!"

Feeling the chill at his throat, Kiba reluctantly spat out the words and gave up resisting.

"Arf..."

Akamaru, who had just transformed into Kiba, let out a howl when he saw Kiba concede, then changed back to normal.

"Their strengths aren't even in the same league!" Shikamaru shook his head helplessly as he watched Kiba get beaten in less than three seconds. Was this what the gap looked like? Though it seemed Sasuke's trick wouldn't work as well next time. Most people had already figured out how it worked.

After Kiba conceded, Sasuke put away his kunai and walked off to the side, his expression blank. He didn't seem to care about his victory at all.

Of course, Sasuke's nonchalant attitude still made Kiba angry. Losing wasn't what was scary; what was scary was that the other guy hadn't even taken you seriously. That was what truly broke Kiba.

"Damn it! One day, I'll wipe away this humiliation!" Kiba silently swore as he watched Sasuke walk away.

"Woof, woof, woof..." As if sensing Kiba's feelings, Akamaru barked at Sasuke, as though trying to intimidate him.

Drawn by the barking, Sasuke glanced indifferently at Kiba's pet, then looked away. Kiba would probably only ever become a Jonin, so he shouldn't pose too great a threat to Sasuke's plans.

"Second match: Hinata Hyuga versus Uzumaki Naruto!"

While Sasuke was still lost in thought, the second match began. Hearing the names, Sasuke's expression turned strange. Was this an early domestic-violence scene?

"Naruto-kun!" When she realized she would be fighting Naruto, Hinata silently prayed for him, then slowly walked to the center of the arena.

"So it's Hinata!"

Naruto felt a little disappointed when he saw that his opponent was a girl. Then everything happened just as Sasuke had predicted. Since Naruto hadn't used Shadow Clones to confuse Hinata's Byakugan at the start, Hinata gave him a thorough "beating" within minutes!

"Domestic violence—terrifying!"

Watching Naruto, who couldn't move after being hit at his pressure points, Sasuke silently marveled.

"Hinata wins!"

At Kurenai's announcement, the fight came to an end. Hinata returned to her team, her face flushed with embarrassment, while Naruto went back to his spot, looking utterly ashamed.

"Sigh. What a handful!"

Kakashi glanced helplessly at the defeated Naruto. This guy really didn't understand anything!

Sasuke showed no reaction to Naruto's loss. His attention was entirely on Hinata. Compared to Sakura and Ino, Hinata seemed like the real powerhouse!

"What am I even thinking?" Realizing his thoughts had gone completely off track, Sasuke shook his head helplessly and composed himself.

"Third match: Yamanaka Ino versus Haruno Sakura!"

Sasuke had only just sorted out his thoughts when he heard the announcement. His expression turned a little strange. If the two of them fought, who should he root for? Though, really, it had nothing to do with him.

The fight was incredibly dull. The two mostly traded insults, and the outcome was simple: Sakura, who hadn't undergone any proper training, was defeated by Ino's Mind Body Switch Technique in a single move.

"Kakashi, your team has some serious problems," Asuma kindly pointed out after watching Naruto and Sakura's fights. He looked over at Kakashi, who wore a worried expression.

"You can say that again! Sasuke's too strong, and the other two are too weak. They're not easy to train."

Echoing Asuma's words, Kakashi muttered under his breath. The problem was plain for anyone to see.

While Asuma and Kakashi were still discussing it, Kurenai announced the result of the match.

Sasuke didn't feel anything about the outcome. Maybe it was because he wasn't interested in Sakura right now.

Next came the match between Aburame Shino and Akimichi Choji. As expected, the bug-user with almost no presence won after a difficult fight.

When the match ended, Sasuke suddenly thought of a problem. Who would Shikamaru fight? Would he win without competing? Wouldn't that look like obvious favoritism? Even if there was no reward for winning this time!

"Final match: Shikamaru Nara versus Uchiha Sasuke!"

As Sasuke was still thinking, Kurenai considered it briefly and gave her answer.

"So it really came down to this in the end? What a drag. Let's see just how strong you've gotten."

After hearing Kurenai, Shikamaru sauntered onto the arena and fixed his gaze on Sasuke.

"I'd like to see the Nara Clan's secret techniques, too."

Though Sasuke was a little confused about why he was still the one fighting Shikamaru in the end, he walked onto the arena. Hiruzen Sarutobi was watching, after all. He'd better follow the rules.

"I know this might not be the best thing to say, but I'd still like to see the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan. Just not right now, of course."

Shikamaru slowly pulled out a kunai and prepared to fight, then gave a helpless shrug.

"If we get the chance someday, I'll let you see it. But I haven't awakened my clan's Kekkei Genkai yet. It's kind of sad, when you think about it."

An easy victory for the Uchiha; domestic violence between Hinata and Naruto!
