Background

Beatrix is a long-lived elf and the inaugural Bushin Festival champion. Having developed her abilities without expert guidance, she becomes the strongest martial artist of her world’s surface level through natural talent, swordsmanship, and mana alone. Her growth eventually stalls because she lacks methods to compress and purify mana or cultivate internal power. 297 300

She is Alpha’s aunt and knew Alpha by her birth name, Malena. Beatrix had left in the past; when she later reunites with Alpha, she is confronted by Alpha’s resentment over being abandoned and expresses guilt over her role in the family’s separation. 288 303 304
