A vast expanse of light swelled up from below, crashing toward the terrifying existence whose mere upper half was enough to blot out the sky and cover the earth.
Yet before long, blood-red hues emerged within the light, seeming to corrode straight through the "sun."

But at that moment, an invisible contamination and curse descended upon his arm in an incomprehensible manner.
The firelight gathered in his hand collapsed, as though it had been swallowed.
In its place, horrifying aberration rapidly spread from his fingertips. In an instant, it had corrupted the left hand formed of light, leaving almost nothing but intact bones, and it continued expanding swiftly, seemingly intent on erasing his entire body.

"Eternal Day!"
An orange-yellow, blazing fireball filled with immense heat rose into the air, seemingly capable of swallowing and incinerating everything ahead.

But compared to such minor wounds, what truly horrified Colin was that even so, a bizarre gigantic hand still punched through his attack and came crashing down toward the Thorn Cocoon where the Little Girl was.
Beyond the light, the entire body of the Mother of Suffering and Thorns had descended into reality!
"Get the hell out of here!"
Colin immediately made his decision. At the cost of further weakening himself, he invoked the primordial power of the Source of Light and charged directly toward the gigantic hand slamming down from the sky.
