His heart immediately leaped with joy. Now he would not have to keep searching for them. Who would have thought the two of them would happen to be together?
However, Mu Qing also noticed that something was off about their situation and immediately rushed forward to help.
Yet, just as in the Sandsoil Desert, the moment Mu Qing flew into the sky, a terrifying force of storm winds descended upon him. In an instant, lightning flashed and thunder roared around him as torrential rain came pouring down.

An immense demon force struck Mu Qing directly. It was like a heavy blow to his chest, and he coughed up blood on the spot.
This force was far stronger than the one in the Sandsoil Desert. Once Mu Qing descended to a certain height, the raging winds and rain around him vanished in an instant.
This illusion-like phenomenon had always existed within the Nether Emperor Demon Realm. Once one reached a certain height, any living being would be deemed to be attempting an escape, triggering the illusion and ultimately being forced back down.
Even in his Fourth-Order Tianming Form, Mu Qing was still unable to withstand this force.
