Chapters 201–210 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 201Refit

After five hundred years fighting on Defiant Continent, Sett returned to Supply Base 036 to rest, sell his spoils, and strengthen his Thousand-Vine Star-Eating Grass. Once it evolved to high-level King Level combat power, Sett chose to return to Defiant Continent and head for the central Region One.

  • Sett returned to Supply Base 036 after accumulating fifty billion military merits and sold his spoils for sixty-five billion mixed element units.
  • Sett met King Die'ai at the base and learned about her battles in Star Tower and the Outer Battlefield.
  • Sett bought treasures for two hundred million points and spent a year resting while his Star-Eating Grass evolved to high-level King Level combat power.
  • Sett decided to keep fighting on Defiant Continent rather than risk his life in Star Tower or another more dangerous battlefield.
  • Sett chose to travel to Region One, a combat zone in Defiant Continent's central region, where more King Level Immortals gathered.

Ch. 202Mechanical Race Immortal!

Sett arrived at Zone One on Defiant Continent and was ambushed by King Slanted Heart, whose Despair Valkyrie overwhelmed Sett and his Star-Eating Grass. Sett called on Emily and her Zerg warriors, forcing King Slanted Heart to flee, while the Star-Eating Grass suffered heavy damage.

  • Sett reached Zone One and was eager to fight among its powerful Immortals.
  • King Slanted Heart ambushed Sett, damaged his Dream Butterfly, and attacked him in the Despair Valkyrie.
  • Sett released the Star-Eating Grass, which burned its Immortal divine power to shield him, but King Slanted Heart's attacks stripped away more than a tenth of its mass.
  • Sett called for nearby allies, but they refused to challenge King Slanted Heart, so he summoned Emily and her Zerg warriors.
  • Emily directed more than ten thousand Zerg warriors toward King Slanted Heart, who fled when he saw the Immortal-level Zerg Mother Empress.
  • Sett praised Emily and apologized to the injured Star-Eating Grass, promising to catch powerful prey for it later.

Ch. 203Divine General's Legacy

Sett obtained a Dreamlight Divine General Inheritance Crystal and gave it to his teacher, King Zhenlian, because its soul-focused inheritance suited her better than him. King Zhenlian arrived on Defiant Continent and accepted the crystal, while King Slanted Heart warned King Fuxi that an Immortal-level Zerg Mother Empress had appeared there.

  • Sett reflected on his ambush by King Slanted Heart and resolved to be more careful on Defiant Continent.
  • King Slanted Heart visited King Fuxi, traded intelligence for a World Ring, and warned him about the newly arrived Immortal-level Zerg Mother Empress.
  • Sett examined the Dreamlight Divine General Inheritance Crystal he had looted from a Marquis-level Immortal and decided to give it to King Zhenlian.
  • Sett called King Zhenlian and explained that the soul-lineage inheritance suited her, though she initially refused to take it.
  • King Zhenlian teleported to Defiant Continent, inspected the crystal, and accepted Sett's gift.

Ch. 204Battle

King Zhenlian gave Sett the enslaved Invincible King-level Wild Crocodile King as a bodyguard before leaving the Outer Battlefield. Sett then challenged and killed Azure Lightning Marquis, earning military merits and valuable spoils while continuing to train.

  • King Zhenlian departed after assigning Wild Crocodile King to protect Sett, and Sett told the bodyguard he would call on him only in dangerous situations.
  • Sett found Azure Lightning Marquis, destroyed his puppet body, and used a hammer strike to stop him from escaping the Star-Eating Grass’s enclosure.
  • Sett battled Azure Lightning Marquis while the Star-Eating Grass sealed off the area, and he called on Emily and her Zerg warriors to weaken the Monster Race Immortal.
  • The Star-Eating Grass consumed Azure Lightning Marquis, and Sett received one trillion military merits before leaving with spoils worth about one hundred million chaos elements.
  • Sett teased Emily about the usefulness of the Zerg queens’ reputation and ordered her to accelerate the production of Zerg warriors for future battles.

Ch. 205Slaying King Slanted Heart

Sett rose to become one of the strongest fighters in the first region, killed King Slanted Heart with Emily’s soul attack, and took his Despair Valkyrie. He returned to Base 036 to meet a Hong Alliance envoy and repair and upgrade the damaged Dream Butterfly.

  • Sett’s combat strength and Thousand-Vine Star-Eating Grass grew over centuries, and he began killing King-level Immortals while earning a reputation as Star Eater King.
  • Sett encountered King Slanted Heart fighting King Tan Xin, but the two withdrew when other experts gathered to watch.
  • After Sett killed another elementary King-level fighter, King Slanted Heart ambushed him and attacked with the upgraded Despair Valkyrie’s Despair Railgun.
  • Sett summoned Emily, who killed King Slanted Heart with a soul attack, and Sett collected the Despair Valkyrie.
  • Sett accepted an invitation to meet a Hong Alliance envoy at Base 036 and returned there in the damaged Dream Butterfly, planning to have it repaired and upgraded.

Ch. 206Joining the Hong Alliance

Sett accepted the Hong Alliance’s invitation, learned about its ranks and headquarters, and sold most of his battlefield spoils before visiting Hong Alliance City. After meeting fellow members, he asked where he could sell more items.

  • Desireheart King led eight other King envoys to Sett’s island and invited Star Eater King to join the Hong Alliance, which Sett accepted.
  • The Hong Alliance formally enrolled Star Eater King as a one-star member under his alias, and the envoys celebrated with Sett before departing.
  • Sett studied the alliance’s hierarchy and Hong Alliance City, then sold his remaining spoils to the Giant Axe Arena for 1.8 billion mixed-element units.
  • Sett entered Hong Alliance City, explored his one-star residence district, and met fellow members at a plaza.
  • Sett told the members he had gained items on the Outer Battlefield and asked where he could sell them.

Ch. 207Selling Treasures

Sett explored Hong Alliance City with Iron Thorn King and sold King Slanted Heart’s Despair Valkyrie to Cosmic Treasure Hall for one hundred billion mixed-element units. After receiving the payment, Sett planned to spend some of it strengthening his Star-Eating Grass before returning to the battlefield.

  • Iron Thorn King guided Sett around Hong Alliance City, where they visited Shorecliff Palace and learned how its One in Ten Thousand treasure lottery worked.
  • Sett and Iron Thorn King bought lottery tickets, but neither won the draw.
  • Iron Thorn King brought Sett to Cosmic Treasure Hall, where Sett offered the Despair Valkyrie for sale.
  • Sett accepted Cosmic Treasure Hall’s offer of one hundred billion mixed-element units and signed a purchase agreement for the armor.
  • Sett dined with Iron Thorn King, then returned from the Virtual Universe and received the payment after Cosmic Treasure Hall collected the armor.
  • Sett decided to buy treasures for his Star-Eating Grass and strengthen it during his next stay in the military camp.

Ch. 208Peak Secret Method

Sett trained under Giant Axe Founder, refining Soul Severance until it reached the level of a pinnacle secret technique. After preparing a rebuilt Dream Butterfly, Sett set his sights on the Star Tower battlefield.

  • Sett demonstrated Soul Severance to Giant Axe Founder, who judged it a promising beginner-level technique and arranged specialized opponents to train him.
  • Sett defeated the first hundred opponents in under two years, then fought for hundreds more years before overcoming the Green-Line Devouring Insect and reaching the pinnacle level.
  • Sett told Giant Axe Founder he intended to create an ultimate secret technique, and Giant Axe Founder arranged another thousand opponents for him.
  • Sett decided to leave for the Star Tower battlefield, where Luo Feng would soon claim the Star Tower as his master.
  • Sett spent one billion mixed element units upgrading the Dream Butterfly with a king-level auxiliary lifeform and G-grade metal, giving it greater speed and defense.

Ch. 209Star Tower

Sett upgraded the Thousand-Vine Star-Eating Grass and set out for the Star Tower, a vast battlefield where powerful experts fought over rare Sealing Stars. After failing to claim the tower, he entered one of its shifting forbidden regions and prepared for battle.

  • Sett told King Die'ai that his upgraded Thousand-Vine Star-Eating Grass could nearly match King-level Invincible strength and that he planned to visit the Star Tower.
  • King Die'ai explained the Star Tower's Sealing Stars, its dangerous Nine Swirl Nebula, and the history of the four peak races fighting over it.
  • Sett traveled to the Star Tower aboard the Dream Butterfly with the Wild Crocodile King and Zerg Mother Empress concealed in his World Ring.
  • Sett tried and failed to claim the Star Tower, then entered it through one of its nine entrances.
  • Sett passed into a dark, shifting forbidden region and adjusted himself for the battles ahead.

Ch. 210Forbidden Land Guardian

Sett traveled through the Star Tower’s forbidden spaces, fought guardians, and learned that a Sealing Star might soon emerge and draw powerful warriors together. In the fifty-first space, he faced two Iron Rider race warriors as more groups arrived, setting the stage for a chaotic battle.

  • Sett entered a vortex passage and saw dozens of Sealing Stars below a stone bridge, leading him to suspect that a Sealing Star was about to emerge.
  • A ten-thousand-kilometer ocean guardian attacked Sett, but the Star-Eating Grass and Wild Crocodile King fought it until Wild Crocodile King shattered its core.
  • Sett continued through the Star Tower, defeating a hundred-kilometer stone guardian with his great hammer and Soul Severance technique.
  • In the fifty-first forbidden space, two peak King-level Iron Rider race warriors confronted Sett, and he assessed them while preparing to fight.
  • A squad of ten warriors emerged from a passage, which Sett suspected was controlled by a Zerg Mother Empress, and several more passages opened nearby.
