Compared with Kakuzu's densely packed but rather one-note Earth Grudge Fear files and all those empty ninjutsu folders, Jiraiya's file structure was much messier. It suited his laid-back personality.

What the hell were those last few files!?
But he quickly refocused on the matter at hand.
Jiraiya's ninjutsu library was indeed extensive. As the Third Hokage's student, he had mastered a wide variety of techniques and was especially skilled in Fire Release and Earth Release.
But Hiroki didn't start copying recklessly.
His total chakra was a serious limitation; trying to learn too much would only leave him with a smattering of everything. More importantly, he didn't need quantity. He needed skills that would actually come in handy when he fought Tsunade seven days later.
What were Tsunade's strengths?
Her Strength of a Hundred, top-tier Taijutsu, exquisite Medical Ninjutsu, and her terrifying ability to dominate opponents in close combat.
To come away from a fight with her "without a scratch," the Earth Grudge Fear and a few Wind Release techniques he'd copied from Kakuzu wouldn't be enough. He needed more flexible tactical options—techniques that could restrict his opponent's movements, create distance, or even obstruct her vision.
Hiroki fixed his gaze on several key files:
[Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld.ee]—an excellent restraining technique. If it hit, it could severely limit Tsunade's movement and give him a chance to catch his breath.
Orochimaru had often used it in battles in the Land of Rain, but unfortunately, Hiroki didn't have an Earth nature.
[Fire Release: Flame Bullet.e.e]—a mid-range attack technique.
