Letting out a deep breath thick with the taste of blood, Zhou You staggered out of bed, nearly falling several times along the way.
In the end, however, he steadied himself and moved forward.
He pushed open the bedroom door. Sure enough, Little Female Ghost was watching television, with the black cat lying beside her, as docile and obedient as an ordinary pet.
But the creature spotted Zhou You immediately and sprang to its feet, alert.
Zhou You rolled his eyes.
He had no idea why the little bastard was always so hostile toward him... Still, first, the cat provided Little Female Ghost with some company, and second, keeping it at home was equivalent to hiring a whole bunch of free bodyguards. Wherever the cat went, the villagers followed. Those people had now completely taken
