Ten minutes or so later, Zhou You looked up at the casino sign overhead and felt his temples throb.
He cast a sidelong glance at the young punk beside him, who was keeping his eyes down and trying to look inconspicuous, and spoke.
"So, according to you, Luo lost a fortune in this casino, then borrowed from a loan shark to win it back, only to lose more and more until he couldn't possibly repay it. Now he wants me to bail him out?"
The young punk answered with a single word.
"Yes."
Somehow, Zhou You found himself missing his junior sister in the Blood Rain Record and his master in the Myriad Abysses more and more.
One gave him ridiculous nicknames and the other was an outright scoundrel, but at least neither went around making trouble for him!
As for that bastard Luo Liangde...
What could he say? The man was his only subordinate, after all. He would just have to put up with him.
Rolling his eyes, Zhou You entered the casino.
But the moment he stepped through the door, he heard Luo Liangde's anguished cry.
"Zhou, you're finally here... Please, save my life!"
Under the dim lights, he looked at the tightly bound figure, and all the things he wanted to say finally boiled down to a single sentence.
"Luo, this is the second time..."
It was a perfectly ordinary casino, with several card tables nearby. Like the snack street, it catered specifically to workers, so there was naturally nothing sophisticated on offer: mostly three-card poker, Fight the Landlord, mahjong, and the like. Luo Liangde was tied to one of the chairs. Though uninjured, he still looked thoroughly bedraggled.
The customers had all been cleared out, leaving only a few bodyguards leaning against the wall and watching
