Kuxia Haven Bilal glared at the gathered crowd with bloodshot eyes.
The court retainers below bowed their heads in silence.
To be fair, that was perfectly normal.
Unlike his father, who had managed the family for decades, he had only recently been recalled from the Paradise district. Among these court retainers, he could not even remember many of their names.
Even so, he remained extremely confident.
After all, he was the Kuxia Family's sole heir, the helmsman of one of the Four Great Families, and quite possibly the one who would replace his father and ascend to the pinnacle of power.
Before that, however, there were still a few minor problems to deal with.
"Why couldn't the Wild Hunt Cavalry break through their lines even after being deployed?"
After a moment, one court retainer lowered his head and replied.
"Reporting to the Family Head, the Wenton Family deployed the Sun-Shooting Squad. Those people may not be capable of conducting an annihilation battle, but they can hold us back for a while. The Wild Hunt relies entirely on speed, and once they get bogged down, things can easily go wrong... so they withdrew first."
Bilal froze.
"The Sun-Shooting Squad? Didn't Dad confirm not long ago that those people were still putting down a rebellion in Richel Underground City? When did they return?"
Several people exchanged looks.
Only after a long while did someone speak.
"Family Head, that person from the Wenton Family likely used a strategy of making a feint in one direction while secretly advancing in another. On the surface, they were suppressing the rebellion, but in truth, they may have returned to defend long ago... It's even possible that they were behind the rebel army in the first place."
Bilal immediately flew into a rage.
"You failed to uncover
