The air in the control room seemed to freeze.
As they stared at the blurry image, every astronomer furrowed their brows. Everyone had their own thoughts, but none dared to voice them outright.
An elderly professor with decades of experience frowned deeply, adjusted his glasses, and said solemnly:
"Use the traditional methods—image processing, spectral analysis! Analyze it alongside the psionic images and produce a simulated image."
As the computers ran at full capacity, the edges of the enormous energy source millions of light-years from Blue Star, once utterly indistinct, were slowly stripped of noise and gradually became clearer on the main screen.
"Image sharpening progress: 80%..."
"Reconstructing topological structure..."
The instant the final outline appeared on the main screen, the entire observatory erupted in gasps.
"It really is?!"
"What the hell is that..."
It was not some collapsed galaxy cluster, nor was it any celestial body they had ever seen before.
It had a head, a torso, and limbs.
That massive shadow spanning beyond the Milky Way... was actually a complete humanoid figure?!
"H-How is that possible?"
An elderly astronomer's legs gave out, and he clutched the edge of the console tightly. By the common sense of astrophysics, celestial bodies would ultimately tend toward spherical or disk-like shapes due to gravitational collapse. Yet this colossal entity, stretching across an unknown number of light-years, maintained a human-like posture as it floated silently through the universe!
"Move! Everyone, move now!"
The veteran professor was the first to snap out of his shock. He shouted orders, pushing the Scientific Research Team's efficiency to its limit.
"Engineering team, log in immediately! Hurry and ask the Star Spirit Race how to improve the inscriptions!"
"Calculation team! Focus all computing power on image processing! I want its exact dimensions and its precise distance from Blue Star!"
