The entire Companion Star was a mess. Led by the two guild presidents of [Flesh Ascension], they had set their sights on a battlefield outside Shadow City this time, where two high-level creatures were frantically brawling.
Flying in the sky was a gigantic serpent that had descended from the stars. Savage bone spikes covered its body, and its enormous form coiled through the rolling dark clouds as dazzling dark-purple starlight constantly burst from between its scales.
Crawling on the ground was a Tier Four beetle native to the Companion Star. Clad in heavy armor, its six mountain-sized legs were firmly embedded in the earth. Every time it collided with the giant serpent, it sent waves of dirt thousands of meters high surging into the sky.
The two monsters fought until the heavens and earth lost their color. Psionic energy erupted, and the aftershocks shattered the players' dreams of scavenging loot.
