A dry heave shattered the dead silence.

Tang Dashui stared at the pile of... rotten flesh before him, his face turning green.

It was the freshly dismembered corpse of a [Void Flea]. Purple entrails had spilled all over the ground, giving off a pungent stench of ammonia and rotten seafood.

"Hold it in."

The one handling the dissection was a [Flesh Artisan] with the ID "Hannibal." He held a bone scalpel in one hand, both hands covered in slime, his eyes blazing with fanaticism.

With a Flesh Artisan's class abilities, he did not actually need a scalpel. But Teacher Hannibal said using a knife gave it more of a feeling.

"After dissecting it, I found this."

Hannibal pulled a dark green sac, faintly pulsing, from the pile of rotten flesh.

"This is a [Void Pheromone Sac]. These bugs probably use this scent to identify their own kind."

"It's too hard to grind favorability with the Photonic Bacteria, and the current output of light weapons isn't nearly enough to go around." Hannibal gave a savage grin and pointed at the dozen or so hollowed-out insect shells on the ground. "So, we're doing something retro."

"This is my new tactic—Trojan Horse: Biological Version!"

Tang Dashui and the dozen or so players around him felt a faint sense of foreboding...

Ten minutes later.

"Not viscous enough. Add some superglue!"

Hannibal inspected them from side to side, gesturing as he smeared uncured [Bio-Adhesive] all over Tang Dashui's body.

It was a slick, greasy liquid.

The sensation was like being thrown into a bucket of snot—wet, cold, and sticky.

"Click."

As the final piece of skull snapped shut, Tang Dashui was completely sealed inside the foul-smelling insect corpse.

"Fuck..."
