Background

Ao Fu is the Fate Sovereign, one of the Four Laws Sovereigns. Since the dawn of creation, he and the Destruction Sovereign Uterde have studied divine beasts; Ao Fu is credited with researching most divine beasts in existence and is regarded by Augusta as more gifted at research than cultivation. 139 172

He is the only Sovereign known to have completed two Supreme God Missions. A later attempt at a sixth mission failed after Lynn intercepted it, preventing Ao Fu from obtaining the Supreme Artifact of Material Defense associated with that mission. 130 131

Augusta, the Light Sovereign, is Ao Fu's Sovereign clone. Their shared interests and communication make Augusta central to Ao Fu's attempts to uncover Amon's identity and seize his true body. 139

Researching Amon

Unable to complete his sixth Supreme God Mission, Ao Fu turns his attention to Amon's seemingly limitless clone ability. He experiments on captured clone tissue for more than a century, but the research fails to reveal the ability's underlying principle. 130

After examining Amon's essence blood, Ao Fu determines that Amon is likely a special lifeform rather than a divine beast. He and Augusta decide to search for unfamiliar Fate Paragons as potential leads to Amon's hidden true body. 139
