Background / History

Luo escaped from the Plane Prison after Xiao Yan and Lynn’s actions released him from his restraints. He initially sought their assistance in reaching the Supreme Plane, but later launched a sneak attack on Xiao Yan and fled with Arnold, revealing his willingness to betray an ally for his own objectives 81.

In the Death God Arena, Luo defeated Kent for the right to challenge Mojin City’s lord, Sai’erwan. He incapacitated Sai’erwan with a soul attack, killed him, seized Mojin City, and renamed it Demon City. During the following century of seclusion, he strengthened himself with the souls harvested from the city before departing for Hell through the Undead Holy Mountain Teleportation Array 95.

After arriving in Hell, Luo retaliated against Cole for having mistreated Lynn and Xiao Yan. He later became entangled with Miluo Island and Yuanwu Prefecture after being mistaken for Lynn, surviving Patroclus’s soul attack at the cost of an arm, and eventually killing Patroclus when the latter’s Sovereign Power ran out 96 99 100.

Luo escalated the conflict by attacking Miluo Island, killing its guards and Red-robed Elders, and harvesting souls on a massive scale. His slaughter of Four Divine Beasts Clan members, including elder Beren, provoked both the clan and the Bagshaw Clan into pursuing him 101 102 103 107.

After defeating Prefect Kingston, Luo obtained a Supreme God Decree. Recognizing that this would attract Sovereigns, he chose to hide in a material plane rather than face them directly 105 106.

Personality

Luo is ruthless, confrontational, and highly confident in his strength. He frequently kills opponents who obstruct or underestimate him, including guards, fiends, clan members, and Paragons 98 101 102 116.

He is also pragmatic when faced with threats beyond his immediate ability to confront. After acquiring the Supreme God Decree, he acknowledged the danger posed by Sovereigns and planned to conceal himself in a material plane 106.

Abilities & Skills

Human Emperor Kingdom

Luo can unfold the illusory Human Emperor Kingdom behind him and summon ghostly shadows to seize souls.

  • Ghost Shadows can harvest the souls of targets, including the Saint Domain original bodies associated with Highgod clones 101.
  • Souls returned to the Human Emperor Kingdom strengthen Luo’s body over time 103.
  • Luo can condense harvested souls into a pitch-black energy sphere and use it as a destructive “parting gift” against an area below 101.
  • He can burn all souls stored within the kingdom for a brief but immense increase in power 115.

Soul Attacks and Soul Refinement

Luo possesses exceptionally dangerous soul-based techniques and defenses.

Sovereign Power

Luo uses Sovereign Power to amplify his combat capabilities despite wielding Destruction Sovereign Power as a Death Element Highgod.

  • He collected Fire and Earth Element Sovereign Power from the Spatial Rings of defeated Four Divine Beasts Clan members 103.

Speed and Physical Combat

Luo’s movement speed and close-combat power are major components of his fighting style.

  • He moves quickly enough to leave dozens of lingering afterimages 101.
  • He crossed nearly a thousand meters before most island guards could react 101.
  • He defeated Beren and the accompanying Four Divine Beasts Clan members despite their use of elemental Sovereign Power 102 103.
  • He could tear open a spatial rift while pursuing Magnus 116.
