Under the guidance of a man in a black training suit, Su You and the others entered the martial arts hall. Once they were lined up, the man collected their ID cards one by one and handed them to a balding middle-aged man.

The balding man was Kuang Qiu, chief instructor of the Extreme Martial Arts Hall in Tianjin City. It was said he was a War General Rank powerhouse who had only come to Tianjin City to serve as chief instructor after retiring.

"There are quite a few people here today!" Kuang Qiu surveyed the group, pausing briefly on Su You before continuing, "I won't waste any time. Let's get straight to the punch strength test!"

With that, Kuang Qiu picked up an ID card and swiped it over the Punch Strength Tester beside him. A wealth of personal information immediately appeared on the screen.

"First up, Wang Xingle."

Wang Xingle glanced at Su You from within the crowd, then stepped forward. He planted his left leg half a step to the side, clenched his right fist, and slammed it into the punching target. The target trembled slightly.

A line of data immediately appeared on the Punch Strength Tester's screen: "1498 kg."

Kuang Qiu looked at Wang Xingle in surprise, but didn't make much of it. He casually swiped the second ID card. The dozen or so Warriors standing nearby, however, began whispering among themselves.

"Good heavens, has that kid already started practicing Five Hearts Towards Heaven?" one instructor asked quietly.

A portly old man murmured, "That kid's name is Wang Xingle. He's got some connection to the Wang Family in the capital."

"Then why'd he come here to test? Can't the HR Alliance do that too?" Li Da asked, puzzled.

The portly old man gave a quiet chuckle. "He's the third young master of the Wang Family's son. Get it now?"

"No wonder!"

The others around them chuckled. They'd all heard of the Wang Family's third young master.

Old Master Wang's third son was the least promising of the Wang Family's second generation—a textbook playboy. They said he had more than thirty illegitimate children, though the Wang Family acknowledged few of them.

Soon, the punch strength tests for the nine people ahead of Su You were over. Aside from one unlucky fellow who scored 898 kg, the other eight all passed. But Wang Xingle was the only one whose punch strength exceeded a thousand kilograms.

"Next, Su You." Kuang Qiu swiped the ID card and regarded him with interest.

The Warriors nearby all turned to look as well. Clearly, they'd already heard that Li Da had taken a liking to Su You.

"Xiaoyou, show them what our Lubei District's genius trainee can do," Li Da said with a cheerful grin.

"Yes." Su You stepped forward and stood before the punching target. He lightly planted his left leg, driving the motion from his leg to his waist and from his waist to his arm, then slammed his fist into the target. It jolted violently.

"3348 kg! Haha, well done, Xiaoyou!" Li Da burst out laughing. The other Warriors praised Su You and joked that Li Da had lucked into a treasure, while the eight waiting for the next test stared in astonishment.

Wang Xingle's eyes went wide. He felt a wave of relief. Good thing I haven't gone looking for trouble with him yet. Otherwise...

"Seventeen years old, and he gained more than two thousand kilograms on his first attempt at cultivating Genetic Origin Energy. Excellent, very good! Li Da didn't pick wrong this time. He really is a genius," Chief Instructor Kuang Qiu said excitedly.

"Boss, looking at Xiaoyou's results, could we get him a Special Training Contract?" Li Da asked hopefully. Su You couldn't help looking over as well.

Kuang Qiu furrowed his brow. "Seventeen years old and an Intermediate Warrior—it might be a bit of a stretch. I can't say for sure. We'll have to see what the president and the others think."

"Boss, what about—"

Li Da had barely begun when Kuang Qiu waved him off.

"Don't rush. Didn't you say when we talked earlier that the punch strength test was his weakest event? Let's see how he does in the other two."

"Come on, Su You. Let's test your speed." Kuang Qiu walked over to the Speed Tester and swiped Su You's ID card.

Su You adjusted his breathing slightly, then kicked off the ground and accelerated to his limit, darting through the speed test area.

"61.1 meters per second. Not bad—just over the Advanced Warrior passing mark," Li Da said with a smile.

Kuang Qiu nodded, well satisfied. His speed really is even better than his punch strength. With results like this, he's got a good chance of getting a Special Training Contract.

"You lot wait here for a while. Su You, come with me. Let's test your neural reactions first."

Kuang Qiu spoke quickly, then led Su You toward the neural reaction testing room at the back of the martial arts hall. The dozen or so Warriors followed, leaving Wang Xingle and the others staring at one another.

When they entered the neural reaction testing room, Su You immediately spotted a tall, sophisticated machine. Dozens of openings lined its front.

Kuang Qiu quickly swiped the ID card, then gestured for Su You to stand inside a circle three point six meters in diameter, directly in front of the machine's openings.

Kuang Qiu pressed a switch. Red light immediately shot from the edge of the circle, enclosing Su You.

"Su You, remember not to leave the circle. If you do, you'll fail immediately. If you get hit by the red light, you'll lose points depending on the circumstances."

Su You nodded. Kuang Qiu pressed several buttons in succession, setting the test intensity to the Quasi-Martial Artist level.

"Begin the test!" Kuang Qiu called, pressing the red button. The dozens of openings in the Neural Reaction Tester began spinning, and beams of red light burst from them.

Some were fast, some slow, and their trajectories were chaotic, but they all shot into the area enclosed by the red circle.

Yet Su You moved without any haste. He didn't seem particularly fast, and his dodges were small, confined to the space around him. But only a handful of the red projectiles managed to hit him. He moved through them with the easy grace of someone strolling in the rain.

"Micro-level!" Li Da's eyes widened. Su You's performance had truly shocked him.

"The young surpass us. I'm getting old!" the portly old man sighed.

Beside the neural reaction tester, Kuang Qiu looked grave. He glanced at the screen, then suddenly turned and pressed several buttons in succession. The red projectiles fired from the dozens of openings sped up sharply.

"Boss, you..." Kuang Qiu waved a hand and said quietly, "Don't worry. This won't affect the test results. Watch Su You closely."

Li Da and the others studied Su You carefully. He seemed to be acting unconsciously now, yet he always began dodging a split second ahead of time. Even though the projectiles had sped up considerably, his results seemed worse than they had at first. The whole scene was bizarre.

Kuang Qiu explained softly, "His movement technique is improving very quickly. At first, he'd only touched the threshold of Micro-level, but he soon crossed it. Now he's already close to reaching great mastery. It seems he had built up a solid foundation before—now all that effort is paying off at once!"

Only then did Li Da and the others understand. They no longer looked at Su You as if he were just some junior.

After all, in terms of their apparent strength, Su You had already surpassed them. And with such a bright future ahead of him, they could hardly treat him like a mere junior.
