In the sky, Linley held the black heavy sword Wufeng and swung it, slicing through the surrounding air.

To Linley's senses, however, this so-called Sovereign Artifact didn't seem much better than the heavy sword he had been using before, aside from being a bit sturdier.

The heavy sword he had previously used was merely one he had randomly exchanged for within the system.

"Big Brother Lin Ke." As Linley flew toward Wushan Town, he asked, "This so-called Sovereign Artifact doesn't seem to have anything special about it?"

"Didn't I tell you before?" Lin Ke's voice resonated in Linley's mind, "A Sovereign Artifact, as the name implies, is a weapon used by a Chief Sovereign. Only those at the God-level can barely wield one. You are currently only at the Saint-level; you simply cannot unleash its power."

Lin Ke's words left Linley feeling somewhat disappointed.

He had obtained a weapon, yet he couldn't even use it yet.

"Moreover, a Sovereign Artifact holds immense, immense appeal to those at the God-level." Lin Ke's tone carried a warning, "It is best not to let others discover that your weapon is a Sovereign Artifact, otherwise, many will come to seize it."

Lin Ke's words caused Linley's flying figure to falter.

"Then what should I do?" Linley frowned, "I can't just have a weapon and not use it, right?"

"There is no need to be overly nervous." Lin Ke's voice carried a hint of a smile, "At the very least, in the entire Yulan Continent, only a very select few should recognize a Sovereign Artifact. Others will at most assume what you hold is a relatively powerful divine artifact. However, once you reach a Higher Plane or a God Plane, you must be careful."

"A select few?" Linley paused, "Big Brother Lin Ke, are you talking about the War God and the High Priest?"

"The War God and the High Priest?" Lin Ke's tone sounded somewhat disdainful, "The two of them—one hasn't made an inch of progress in ten thousand years, and the other became a god by refining a Godhead. Both are merely Low-Gods; it is impossible for them to recognize a Sovereign Artifact. I am referring to someone else, or perhaps, some other rat."

"Some other rat?" Linley's gaze couldn't help but shift to Beibei on his shoulder, "Big Brother Lin Ke, you mentioned before that Beibei's race is the God-Eater Rat, the second God-Eater Rat in the countless billions of years of the world?"

"Correct, you aren't entirely slow." Lin Ke's tone was relaxed, "Beibei's ancestor was the first God-Eater Rat in the world, and he was also born in the Yulan Continent. He, his three sons, and his wife all recognize Sovereign Artifacts. Furthermore, they reside in the Yulan Continent, and in the Higher Planes and God Planes, they are also existences standing at the peak."

"Gulp~"

Lin Ke's words forced Linley to swallow hard.

"Big Brother Lin Ke, are you sure you aren't mistaken?" Linley's tone was somewhat unnatural, "According to what you said, there are countless material planes in the entire world, and a peak expert of the world might not appear in tens of millions of planes. How is it that the Yulan Continent has an entire family of them?"

However, he has never left the Yulan Continent in his life, so he wouldn't recognize a Sovereign Artifact."

Linley was completely speechless at this moment.

More than half a year ago, before Linley had bound the system and met Grandpa Doehring, the eighth-rank dual-element mage who had come to Wushan Town was the most powerful existence Linley knew of.

Later, after meeting Grandpa Doehring and witnessing the battle between two Saint-levels with his own eyes, Linley had gained a clear understanding of the strength of the Saint-level, the peak experts of the continent.

But, having recently killed quite a few Saint-level magical beasts, Linley no longer held any sense of awe toward the Saint-level.

Linley himself was even a Saint-level expert now.

Yet, the legends of the War God and the High Priest were things Linley had heard of since childhood, even while living in the Holy Union.

In Linley's heart, the God-level was an supreme existence.

But after Lin Ke's explanation, Linley realized that even the God-level had its tiers.

And the War God was actually just a Low-God who had become a god by refining a Godhead.

Refining a Godhead to become a god!

When he left the Magical Beast Mountain Range today, he had even given a Godhead to the Purple-Eyed Golden Fur Ape.

In other words, he had just given away a War God?

And the tiny Yulan Continent actually hid an even more powerful family—or rather, a family of rats.

A family of rats that were considered peak experts even in the entire world.

And this wasn't even the strongest.

According to Big Brother Lin Ke, there was someone in the Plane Prison who was the most talented person since the birth of the plane.

What was this?

He had only just reached the Saint-level!

"So, Linley." Lin Ke said earnestly, "Now you understand, the Saint-level is truly just a starting point. You need to work even harder!"

"I understand, Big Brother Lin Ke." Linley nodded with a serious expression, "I will work even harder from now on."

As he spoke, Linley stored the Sovereign Artifact Wufeng into his interspatial ring.

"But Big Brother Lin Ke." Linley then frowned again, "Over the past half year, I estimate I have killed at least one-twentieth of the magical beasts in the Magical Beast Mountain Range. Surely I don't have to keep staying in the Magical Beast Mountain Range, right?"

"Of course not!" Lin Ke's voice carried a hint of anticipation, "Didn't I just say that there is a most talented expert in the Plane Prison?"

"Plane Prison?" Linley was curious, "Big Brother Lin Ke, do you mean you want me to go to this so-called Plane Prison? How many Saint-levels could a prison possibly have?"

"That is where you are wrong." Lin Ke let out a soft huff, "Let me ask you: as long as one reaches the Saint-level, they can live forever. The Yulan Continent has existed for countless billions of years since its birth; why is it that the total number of human and magical beast Saint-levels in the Yulan Continent today is still less than ten thousand?"

Lin Ke's question left Linley stunned.

Indeed, why?

After thinking for a moment, Linley tentatively spoke, "Brother Lin Ke, is it because they went to the Higher Plane and Divine Planes you mentioned?"

"It's not like every Saint-level wants to go to the Higher Plane or Divine Planes," Lin Ke scoffed. "Even if only one Saint-level from every generation stayed on the Yulan Continent, over countless billions of years, there would be at least hundreds of millions of Saint-levels. But where did they go?"

"Brother Lin Ke, you don't mean to say that all these Saint-levels are in the Plane Prison, do you?" Linley felt his throat go dry. "How many people would that be? All of them are Saint-levels?"

"A conservative estimate would be hundreds of millions, certainly," Lin Ke said indifferently. "The Plane Prison and the plane are two sides of the same coin. Because of countless years of fighting, the Yulan Continent fell apart and only a small piece of land remains, but the land inside the Plane Prison was never affected. Furthermore, Saint-levels, whether in the Higher Plane or the Divine Planes, are nothing more than expendable materials; they aren't even considered people. Only by becoming a Low-God can one be counted as a person."

Lin Ke's words caused Linley, who had just broken through, to have his worldview reshaped.

At the same time, the small spark of pride Linley felt after just reaching the Saint-level was completely extinguished.

But immediately following that, Linley became excited again.

So, the world above the Saint-level was this spectacular.

"Brother Lin Ke!" Above Wushan Town, Linley wore a smile. "I am already impatient to go and witness the scenery of the Plane Prison and the Higher Planes."
