With the pack driven off and the danger gone, Dilia slowly descended to the ground. The scene was bloody, but she was no longer the novice who had first entered the Magical Beast Mountain Range. After four years of fighting, she was already accustomed to sights like this.

Beibei looked over the results of his and Lin Feng's battle and chattered excitedly.

"Just as you'd expect from my boss! You even killed both Wolf Kings." Beibei's voice rang in Lin Feng's mind, tinged with envy.

"Haha! Now you know how impressive your boss is, right? So, are you ready to admit defeat?"

Lin Feng laughed to himself, then ignored Beibei, who was baring his teeth, and began collecting the spoils of battle: the Magic Cores.

"The Magic Cores from Fourth-Level Wind Wolves aren't worth much, but even an ant is still meat. I can't let them go to waste."

About thirty meters from Lin Feng, a dark figure lay hidden in the grass, completely silent.

"From beginning to end, that young man cast two Level Five spells and one Level Six spell during the fight. He should be a Level Six Mage. His strength as a warrior seems to be around Level Six as well. He used wind magic to assist his movements, so he probably knows Wind Element magic too. Lin Feng held his Flat Blade in reverse and raised it to block. The shadow's blade slammed into it with a series of sharp clangs. With a bang, the Flat Blade shattered completely, and one of the broken fragments sliced across Lin Feng's face, leaving a thin streak of blood.

Seven or eight Wind Blades suddenly appeared in front of Lin Feng and slashed straight at the shadow. At his current level, Lin Feng could cast Wind Blades without chanting. They struck the shadow, but a dark glow flowed over its body and the Wind Blades scattered.

The shadow was utterly confident as its blade, wreathed in black light, plunged toward Lin Feng's chest.

Lin Feng gave a cold snort. Earth Element Magic Power surged within him, and Earth Guardian Sacred Armor flared to the Jade Level of a Level Seven Mage.

The shadow's dagger struck Earth Guardian Sacred Armor, ringing out with an ear-piercing clash of metal against stone.
