Ye Ye decided to go all out; since he was already poisoned, he bit back at the Blue-Ringed Octopus, tearing off one of its tentacles. The Blue-Ringed Octopus wrapped more tentacles around Godzilla, while Godzilla's dorsal fins charged up, preparing an Electromagnetic Pulse.

The Blue-Ringed Octopus seemed to sense the danger and tried to flee, but Godzilla held it tightly, preventing its escape, and then released the Electromagnetic Pulse. Because the Blue-Ringed Octopus was extremely close to Godzilla, it took the full force of the energy blast and was sent flying, its body left a bloody mess.
