Chapter 15: Brawling, Hibernation

Ye Ye continued onward into the depths of the ocean. He encountered a fleet of merchant ships returning home, but he neither avoided them nor deliberately attacked them. He simply kept moving as he had intended.

When the merchant ships saw a Soul Beast approaching, they attacked him. Ye Ye didn't get angry and continued on his way. Then he collided with one of the ships, tearing open its hull before swimming off.

Seeing that Godzilla had no intention of attacking again, most of the ships quickly sped away. A few brave ones went to rescue the people who had fallen overboard.

Ye Ye continued forward when Xiao Ai's voice suddenly rang out.

[ Ding! 100 meters from the sign-in location ]

Ye Ye: "?"

He'd found another sign-in location. He just hoped it would be a good one.

There were no islands around, so it had to be underwater. Ye Ye swam down toward the seabed, getting closer and closer.

Sign in? ]

Ye Ye looked around and saw nothing distinctive. It was very quiet here, so he could only try signing in first.

Before Ye Ye could think any further, the Magma Titan Megalodon swung its tail at him. Ye Ye seized the opportunity to grab its tail and bite down. (Ye Ye: "Damn, that's hot!") The Magma Titan Megalodon whipped its tail violently, trying to fling Ye Ye away. Ye Ye actually wanted to get some distance, so he let go and was hurled hundreds of meters by the force of its swing.

Now Ye Ye could finally see what it looked like. It was indeed huge, thick and bulky, and somewhat blackened. Its body was covered in rock, with magma flowing through the cracks.

The Magma Titan Megalodon charged at Ye Ye again. Just before it collided with Godzilla, he nimbly dodged, then drove his claws into the flesh on its side. He didn't manage to pierce all the way through, leaving only a bloody mark that did no real damage.

The Magma Titan Megalodon grew angry, unable to believe that such a tiny creature could hurt it. The magma on its body blazed brightly, and a red shock wave spread in every direction. Godzilla unleashed an Electromagnetic Pulse, blue energy radiating from his back. The red and blue energies pushed against each other, then vanished together in a powerful explosion.

Ye Ye knew he couldn't beat it as he was, so he prepared to use the Adult Godzilla Experience Card. After activating it, his body grew to 120 meters tall, matching Legendary Godzilla, and he temporarily gained the ability to unleash Atomic Breath. Ye Ye felt filled with power. The Magma Titan Megalodon was also startled by his sudden growth to 120 meters, but it wasn't afraid and charged at Godzilla again. Godzilla twisted aside, clamped his claws tightly around its body, then bit into its neck, drawing blood. Enraged by the pain, the Magma Titan Megalodon flung Godzilla away with all its might.

They continued fighting. Godzilla landed a hit every time, while remaining unharmed himself. Feeling humiliated, the Magma Titan Megalodon fought him for another hundred rounds, losing every time until it was covered in wounds. It was now fighting for its life, and unleashed its final move. It opened its jaws, gathered red light in its mouth, then fired. Godzilla was caught off guard and couldn't dodge in time. The powerful energy sent sparks flying where it struck. When the light faded, Godzilla's belly was bright red. (Like the scene in Godzilla vs. Kong where Mechagodzilla attacks Legendary Godzilla.)

Although the attack hadn't pierced Godzilla's scales, it had caused him excruciating pain. Ye Ye was furious, and Berserk activated on its own. Ye Ye used Burning Form. (The unlimited version is coming soon.)

Because of Burning Form, Godzilla grew even larger, reaching 150 meters. In Burning Form and Berserk, Godzilla charged the Magma Titan Megalodon. It charged Ye Ye in turn, and he didn't dodge this time. Godzilla no longer felt any pain. He hammered his fists into the Magma Titan Megalodon's head until it could take no more and threw him off. Ye Ye saw his chance and unleashed his ultimate move: Burning Atomic Breath.

Godzilla began charging energy. Red light appeared all around him, then converged near his mouth. He fired a red Atomic Breath. Burning Atomic Breath blasted a huge hole through the Magma Titan Megalodon's head. The Magma Titan Megalodon was dead.

Ye Ye went over and kicked the body a few more times. (Ye Ye: "Damn you for looking down on me! Screw you!")

Just then, Burning Form and the experience card both expired. But a flame emerged from the Magma Titan Megalodon's body and wrapped around Godzilla, seeming to merge with his body.

Ye Ye: "Xiao Ai, what's going on?"

[ Ding! This is a Fire Spirit, a flame that has cultivated intelligence. It inhabits a powerful host and can grant them great strength, but it will slowly devour their consciousness. If the host succeeds, it will take over their body. If the host fails, it will escape and seek out a new host. ]
