"How about this? We'll go back for materials and try again!" Buji suggested.

"Honestly, there's something strange about this oxygen tank. Even if we try a few more times, I don't think we'll ever fix it..." Tom said in an odd tone.

"Ah! We're out of time! Even if you go back for materials and return, it'll take at least half an hour. It'll be too late!" Jerry sighed.

Then Jerry spoke to mission control, which had remained connected the whole time.

"Mission control, this is Jerry. You should already know the situation. For reasons unknown, the oxygen tank can't be repaired, and oxygen is still leaking. The station is facing an oxygen shortage. Requesting instructions on our next course of action!"

At NASA's mission control in America, an emergency had been declared as soon as the oxygen tank developed problems. All personnel were on standby, closely monitoring developments.

The mission control staff had heard every word exchanged by the three astronauts on the station, and everyone now wore a strange expression.

Problems with an oxygen tank were relatively rare, but space held countless dangers. Running into something like this was perfectly normal. They had all been mentally prepared and could only chalk it up to bad luck!

But what happened next left everyone baffled!

What? Holes had appeared one after another? Two repair guns had applied dozens of patches, and they still weren't done? Were they sure it hadn't been blasted with a shotgun?

The mission control director was utterly bewildered. Failing to repair it was one thing. Malfunctions could have complicated causes, after all, and nobody could guarantee anything!
