The Marshall Islands, in the Pacific!
The Republic of the Marshall Islands lay in the central Pacific, southwest of Hawaii and southeast of Guam. It consisted of more than twelve hundred islands and reefs of various sizes, scattered across over two million square kilometers of ocean in two island chains running northwest to southeast.
Despite entering the modern age, the Marshallese still retained many ancient traditional skills, such as fishing.
"Hey, old buddy, sorry, but it looks like I'm winning again today! Hahaha!" A curly-haired old man with dark brown skin laughed at another old man beside him, who wore a straw hat.
The two had been fishing buddies for years. Taking advantage of the fine weather, they had headed out together in a fishing boat for some sea fishing.
Judging by the buckets beside them, the old man who had spoken clearly had a much bigger catch.
