"Hey, Jack, I heard you were on a plane during the 'doomsday crisis'?"
"Oh! Don't get me started. My dad spent five million dollars just to get that ticket!
You can't imagine it. The airport was the real apocalypse. I even banged my head in the crush of people and split it open. I was a complete mess, and I still haven't taken the bandages off!
But that's not the point... the point is, at the very last moment, the government told us Earth was safe! And after the plane landed, they actually told us there were no refunds! Can you imagine how much I was going 'WTF'?"
"Five million dollars? You never told us you were a rich kid. As your best friend, can you imagine how much I want to kill you right now?"
"Hey! That's my dad's money, not mine! He said that as soon as I get a job, he's donating all his money to set up some charitable foundation, and all I get to be is its administrator!"

After a string of speechless replies below his post...
"Jack, you knew the end of the world was coming and didn't even tell us. I think you owe us an explanation!" someone chimed in.
"Hey, that's not my fault! When my dad shoved me into the car without a word, I had no idea what was happening. Then he even confiscated my phone! Otherwise, I would've told you guys right away!"
"All right, since you had it so rough, we'll believe you for now. But do you guys think that alien bomb was real? What if it was a government weapon that went out of control, and they just pinned the blame on aliens? The whole thing is ridiculous!
