In the brightly lit dock, dozens of maintenance engineers worked alongside a large number of engineering robots to repair the Ranger. Under dazzling showers of sparks, the warship's damaged sections were gradually restored.
In one corner, a multifunction engineering robot with six mechanical arms worked inside a large breach in the warship's dorsal armor. Following its preset intelligent program, it swung its arms through a dizzying series of operations, swiftly reconnecting a damaged circuit.
After completing that repair, it began moving deeper inside, ready to repair the next damaged section.
Just then, a dozen or so silver-white little spiders suddenly emerged from the densely packed cables all around it. They climbed over the robot's body, then swiftly burrowed into the core control section in its chest and disappeared.
The next instant, the robot's movements suddenly faltered.
