The commanders of the First and Second Fleets were discussing tactical deployments and contingency plans for their arrival at the Wormhole Battlefield when they both received a message from their communications officers.
"Sir, Commander Ishar has sent a warning. She wants us to keep a close watch on our rear!"
"Our rear?" Both men froze.
Soon afterward, their Gravity Radar really did pick up an anomalous target.
"Sir, an unidentified celestial body has been detected behind the fleet, sixty-eight million kilometers away. It has enormous mass and is heading toward us at an astonishing speed. Estimated contact with our fleet in ten hours!"
An unidentified celestial body? Everyone eyed the signal that had abruptly appeared on the radar with suspicion.
"Could it be a rogue celestial body?"
"Unlikely. We've already established a comprehensive system for monitoring celestial movements throughout the Proxima Centauri System. There shouldn't be a celestial body at that location! Besides, anything with that speed and mass would qualify as a level three hazard. We couldn't possibly have overlooked it!"
If it wasn't a rogue celestial body, then... there seemed to be only one possible explanation!
Disbelief flashed in both fleet commanders' eyes...
An hour later, the fleet's optical radar finally captured an image of the target. What appeared before them was... a giant green umbrella?!
Its green canopy covered over a thousand square kilometers, blocking all optical information from behind it and preventing them from seeing the target in full.
"Is that it?"
"It looks a little different, but... it can only be that!"
