Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! Three volleys of missiles launched in succession. Nearly a hundred thousand missiles streaked toward the already disordered formation of the Gold Coin Mecha Corps, trailing white contrails.
The previous wave of invading robots had engulfed the eastern side of the base in fighting. The fifty-thousand-strong Reserve Mecha Corps stationed there by the Gold Coin Pirate Gang could only watch helplessly, and some had even scattered throughout the base to put out fires. Now that the enemy's mecha corps had finally appeared, they hurriedly turned to meet it.

More than seventy percent of the missiles were intercepted en route, but the eastern base's defensive network had been largely destroyed and was riddled with gaps. The surviving thirty percent still exploded among the Gold Coin mecha. Though they inflicted little damage, they further disrupted the enemy formation.
