Background / History

Thunder God was one of Earth's two supreme martial artists, second only to Hong. He created the Nine-Layered Thunder Blade, a force-exertion technique regarded as Earth's strongest, and was famed for exceptional speed, physical strength, and blade skill. Despite his reputation, Hong's domain and comprehension kept him from surpassing his longtime rival. 35

When Chen Daolin's rise drew their attention, Thunder God accompanied Hong to the Elite Training Camp. He immediately offered to accept Chen as a disciple, partly out of interest in his potential and partly because he wanted talent for the Thunder Martial Arts Hall. 43 44 72
