Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51I'm a Good Person

Simu and Hidan found that the injured girl survived the Black Beetles’ attack and rapidly healed, which Simu connected to her Uzumaki heritage. After learning her name, he asked Uzumaki Rii for permission to examine her body.

  • Simu noticed that the Black Beetles had petrified after stripping away the girl’s altered layer, leaving her alive but badly injured.
  • Simu wondered whether the girl’s Uzumaki heritage had let her endure natural energy and gain unusual strength.
  • Hidan mocked Simu for losing a hand, and Simu taunted him about losing a strength contest to the girl.
  • The girl’s skin healed rapidly, and she woke up wary of Simu and Hidan.
  • Simu gave the naked girl his coat, introduced himself, and learned that she was Uzumaki Rii.
  • Simu told Rii that they were not Orochimaru’s people and asked whether he could examine her body.

Ch. 52Becoming an Experiment Is Fine Too!

Simu examined Uzumaki Rii and learned how the Uzumaki Clan had been destroyed and scattered. Rii chose to follow him rather than pursue revenge, and agreed to become his experiment.

  • Simu examined Uzumaki Rii and found that she was recovering well, with only residual Natural Energy remaining in her body.
  • Uzumaki Rii explained that the Uzumaki Clan had been invaded by the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning, leading to the destruction of the Land of Whirlpools and the clan's persecution.
  • Hidan proposed sacrificing people from the two countries to Jashin and urged Simu to massacre a city, but Simu rejected the idea and stressed the need to gather intelligence first.
  • When Simu asked about her plans, Uzumaki Rii said she would rather follow him than seek revenge and knelt to declare her loyalty.
  • Simu told Uzumaki Rii she lacked the strength to follow him as she was, then offered to let her become his experiment; she eagerly agreed.

Ch. 53Crossing the River by Feeling Snake-chan's Butt

Simu rescued Uzumaki Rii from Orochimaru’s experiments and sent her away with the Ghost Snake, along with valuable research and materials. He and Hidan then planned to raid Orochimaru’s other bases, since Simu could not locate or safely confront Orochimaru himself.

  • Uzumaki Rii told Simu how Orochimaru’s drugs forced Natural Energy into his test subjects, transforming them into monsters and killing her clansmen.
  • Simu comforted Rii, then summoned the Ghost Snake and ordered her to return with it until she was strong enough for a task.
  • Rii entered the Ghost Snake, which also took Orochimaru’s research data, test subjects, medicines, Natural Energy drugs, and animal specimens.
  • Hidan suggested holding a sacrificial festival, but Simu rejected the idea and said they had more important matters to handle.
  • Simu told Hidan he had found several Orochimaru bases but could not locate Orochimaru’s main body, and he planned to keep investigating rather than risk a direct fight.

Ch. 54The Future of Ghouls

After raiding two of Orochimaru’s hideouts, Simu learned more about his formidable opponent and saw how Shiraishi Mori’s actions were raising Jashin’s reputation. Simu planned to spread his clones across the Shinobi World while keeping his true body hidden, though he still lacked Orochimaru’s research on the Living Corpse Reincarnation Technique.

  • Simu and Hidan finished demolishing Orochimaru’s hideout, and Simu reflected on the scrolls, research, and information they had seized.
  • Simu’s system announced that he had analyzed the Blood Pool Clone race, while his Jashin Reputation had risen to 39,416.
  • Simu realized Shiraishi Mori had named his ghoul force the Chosen People and was using Jashin symbols and sacrifices to seek the cult’s support.
  • Simu explained that he had created Blood Pool Clones and Crow Clones, moved his true body deep beneath a mountain, and planned to place more clones around the Shinobi World.
  • Simu noted that his analysis of the Living Corpse Reincarnation Technique remained at 26.4% because he had not obtained Orochimaru’s data, and joked that Hidan could keep taking the blame.

Ch. 58The Body of Lord Simu

  • Jugo confirmed that Simu had stopped him, and Simu realized Jugo could absorb Natural Energy without medicine or deliberate effort.

Ch. 61The Lord Jashin Will Grant Your Wish

  • Konan’s attacks failed to stop Hidan or prevent Simu’s followers from gathering into a grotesque mountain of flesh.
  • The flesh mountain became the Apostle of Desire and unleashed a sound-based Genjutsu, which Pain dispelled for Konan with his Chakra.
  • The Apostle of Desire compressed into a flesh ball and attacked with countless tentacles, forcing Konan to retreat while Pain stayed behind.
  • Pain summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and it fired silver-white chains at the Apostle of Desire as the Apostle struck back with its tentacles.

  • Pain restrained the Apostle of Desire with sealing chains and used the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path’s purple dragon to devour its souls.
  • Kamizuki Simu ended the experiment, causing the Apostle of Desire to explode and devastate the battlefield; Pain survived the blast only as a badly damaged corpse, and the Demonic Statue vanished.
  • Black and White Zetsu recovered Pain’s body, while Hidan crawled out of the bloody water and complained that Simu had not warned him about the explosion.

  • Simu deduced that the Pain he had fought was a clone, then tested the real Nagato’s power and was blasted from the cave by Shinra Tensei.
  • Nagato judged that fighting Simu could be dangerous, and both men agreed to discuss cooperation instead of continuing their battle.
  • Nagato asked Simu to help capture the Tailed Beasts and divert attacks from the Great Nations, offering intelligence and rare ninjutsu in return.
