"So, where did you get that dragon egg?"

"I won it. I was drinking in Hogsmeade last night and played cards with a stranger. Honestly, that guy was probably eager to get rid of it."

"Have you ever beaten me at cards?" Ezio looked up at Hagrid.

"Maybe... possibly... perhaps..." Hagrid stammered, glancing around. "I don't think so, but maybe I got lucky yesterday. You never know with these things. Anyway, I won, yeah!"

"Didn't that guy ask you about anything else?"

"Oh, he did ask what other cute little critters I kept. I told him about Fluffy..." Hagrid suddenly clapped a hand over his mouth, looking thoroughly guilty.

"When we were drinking before, you almost told me how many times a day Fluffy needed feeding."

Hagrid suddenly looked guilty and said nothing, but his face told Ezio everything. Ezio didn't dwell on it, though. He'd only brought it up to go through the motions. If his timing was right, Harry would soon be starting his own adventure.

Harry paced around the room, thinking. He soon found the clue. "It's that trapdoor, isn't it? Fluffy's guarding the entrance. Is something really important being protected beneath the trapdoor under his paws? But outside Hogwarts... No!
