Just as Dr. Ent had that thought, a gigantic figure over ten meters tall suddenly appeared on the monitor.
Its enormous steel-forged body reflected a grim, icy gleam beneath the sunlight. It stood between Noah and the path ahead like a towering, imposing wall, enough to make one's heart tremble.
It was Unit AE-97!
Dr. Ent's eyes lit up. This was the latest AE Model robot to be produced. Excluding the initial research and development costs, the individual unit alone had cost over three hundred million Beli.
It was also among the strongest of all the robots, slightly stronger than the other seven. It could even go toe-to-toe with a Marine Headquarters rear admiral!
No matter how strong that black-haired boy was, he was still just a recruit. He ought to be in for a headache now, forced into a hard battle, right?
He stared intently at the screen and saw the black-haired youth looking up at the colossal figure before him, indecision written across his face, as if weighing whether to fight or retreat.
Just as expected...
Dr. Ent adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses, not yet having time to smile.
Then, on the screen, the black-haired youth sighed after hesitating for two or three seconds and actually sheathed his drawn sword.
He then extended his right hand and clenched it into a fist.
What did that mean?
Dr. Ent froze. Was the brat planning to run or fight? If he was going to fight, why had he put his weapon away?
Before he could figure it out, the black-haired youth on the screen flashed and vanished without a trace.
By the time the surveillance Den Den Mushi caught sight of him again,
he had somehow risen dozens of meters into the air. Looking
