Two days and two nights passed quickly.
Before they knew it, morning had arrived on the third day.
A light rain had just fallen, leaving the air especially fresh. Noah removed the chip from the back of the last AE-Series Robot's head and tossed it into his snakeskin sack.
"Done. I've got more than enough to secure my place."
He looked up at the sky. The sun peeking out after the rain was a little dazzling, and Noah narrowed his eyes, his smile innocent and warm.
"Guess it's about time to go harvest some chips..."
Inside the White Tower's surveillance room.
"AE-04 has been defeated by Romanov Noah. Its chip has been taken. Battle duration: six seconds. Overall performance: abysmal!"
Dr. Ent looked miserable. "How many does that make?"
"The eighth, Doctor." The staff member reporting to him glanced at his expression and said cautiously, "Every AE-Series Robot we deployed has been destroyed by him..."
"Hahahahaha!" Zephyr laughed around the toothpick in his mouth. "He took out all eight already? That's the kid for you!"
"..." Dr. Ent gave him a numb look, at a loss for words.
Oh well. At this point, he could only be grateful that the kid had shown at least some restraint.
Though Noah had wrecked plenty of ordinary robots along the way, he had held back against the eight AE-Series Robots and only taken their chips.
"Looks like first place in this assessment has already been decided."
