"Reporting, Rear Admiral Gion!"

The female major wore a grave expression as she held a document and delivered her report at rapid speed:

"Colonel Bako of the 329th Branch just sent an urgent telegram! He claims the branch has come under a joint attack by the White Dove Pirates and the Explosion Pirates. The base is in dire danger, and he requests that we immediately dispatch warships for support!"

"Hmm?"

Momousagi's delicate brows furrowed slightly. "The White Dove Pirates and the Explosion Pirates... If I remember correctly, didn't those two pirate crews only enter the Grand Line not long ago?"

Before coming to the West Blue, she had made extensive preparations, investigating and reviewing the records of numerous major pirates active in the West Blue over recent years.

Duerkin, captain of the White Dove Pirates, had a bounty of 66 million Beli;

Bomb-Killer Woman, captain of the Explosion Pirates, had a bounty of 70 million Beli.

The two had an ambiguous relationship and often acted together. Each commanded a fleet of over a thousand men. They had both been fairly well-known pirate captains in the West Blue these past few years, but their ambitions had swelled recently, and they had simultaneously led their crews into the Grand Line.

It had not even been two months, right? Why had they suddenly returned to the West Blue and begun launching large-scale attacks on Marine branch bases?

Something was off.

"I understand."

She looked up at the female major in charge of the communications room and said solemnly:

"Send Colonel Bako a reply. Tell him I will set out immediately and personally lead the fleet there to support him. Tell him he must hold on a little longer."

"Yes, Rear Admiral!"

The female major saluted, then turned and hurried back toward the communications
