Anjie's legs went weak with fright, while his mind was filled with confusion.
How had he offended Uncle Black Wolf and provoked him into such a rage?
That question seemed to be answered very quickly.
For in the next instant, Anjie stared wide-eyed as Black Wolf, usually cold and vicious, turned his head and exchanged a glance with the man lounging in the chair with one leg crossed over the other.
He actually revealed a fawning, ingratiating smile Anjie had never seen before. Perhaps because he was unpracticed at it, the smile looked even uglier than crying...
The street outside the casino.
Noah strolled leisurely beneath the sunset with his harem in tow, while Fujitora and the skinny old man followed alongside, one ahead and one behind.
"When we were outside the casino earlier, I noticed the presence of an unparalleled top-tier expert nearby."
Fujitora sighed with emotion. "I simply did not expect it to be you, Vice Admiral Noah."
"Had Mr. Issho heard of me before?" Noah glanced at him in surprise.
"How could I not have heard of Vice Admiral Romanov Noah, whose name has shaken the Four Blues?" Fujitora's expression was grave and earnest. "The reactions of those scum in the casino just now were the best proof, were they not?"
Noah only smiled.
Come to think of it, he had entered the casino solely to get acquainted with Fujitora. Everything else had merely been a minor interlude.
But just as Fujitora had said, after Black Wolf recognized Noah's identity, the atmosphere throughout the casino changed entirely.
Whether they were bodyguards and thugs or
